Why We Experience Cramps?

Sometimes some people are experiencing cramps, leg cramps in particular. They felt stiffness and hardness of the muscle in the leg or in other parts of the body such as in the stomach. Leg cramps are not isolated. It always happened even with the healthiest people.

I have experienced leg cramps too. My feet and legs are becoming stiff and hard. After a while that I was able to get over it, the muscle in my legs is hurting and I feel uncomfortable because of the pain.

Getting quick of what to do if leg cramps happened will save you from pain and avoid being uncomfortable. Here are some quick reliefs for leg cramps to avoid experiencing stiffness:

  • Straight your legs and hold your toe towards you, or
  • Take the leg between the hands and twist it. It will stop the pain instantly.
  • Put hot applications on the cramp area, thus, bringing the blood in abundance on the affected muscle or leg will satisfy the aching nerve.
  • Give massage and rubbing treatments plus hot applications every night is better because it will get you rid of the pain.

There are many causes of cramps. Overworked, over fatigue, stress, all these contributes to overuse of the muscles and may trigger a cramps. We experience it because we lack oxygen in that particular part of the body. Our system cannot supply enough oxygen into it. Our body cannot get rid of the toxins that we need to eliminate so that it cannot damage. Perspiration is one way to eliminate toxins. We need to get the poisons out of our body. Our nerves will not experience any difficulties unless there is something wrong in the system. Any wrong in our body will be sent to nerves if it is the one affected, then, that is the time they will complain and one means is the cramps.

Exercise helps build oxygen which is transported to different parts of our body. Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. So move and get your exercise in the sunshine.       Thanks @rosemary50. I wrote this because I always had leg cramps before. I would be hypocrite if I deny I don't experience leg cramps anymore but it is lesser now. I am looking forward to start living a healthy life.
