What Science Says about it?

  • In recent years many studies have been conducted on weight loss effects of green tea. One of these research says that green tea lowers cholesterol LDL . Clinical studies suggest that it helps burn fat and boost metabolism. It has been proven by many researches that the substance epigallocatechin gallate is responsible for weight loss because it helps burn weight.
  • Another research suggests that as green tea is steamed rather than fermented during its initial processing, therefore, more polyphenols are preserved in the leaves and thus it has better health benefits than black and white tea that comes from the same family.
  • One research claims that it helps in reducing fat absorption, while on the same time it increase the rate of fate excretion and it also suppress appetite.

What are the Ways in Which You can Consume Green Tea?

Though internet is flooded with advertises about green tea products that help you loose weight but not all of them are effective. Some even don't use the real extracts of green tea rather only use some essence.

  • How to Brew Green Tea?

If possible the best practice is to brew your own tea at home and drink it twice or thrice a day. Green tea leaves are very delicate and most of their polyphenols are lost with too much processing, therefore, it is better not to boil them too much. The method of brewing green tea is an easier one. Boil water to boiling temperature and add few leaves of green tea, cover the lid of the pan and turn off the stove. After 1 or 2 minutes drain green tea in cups with leaves so that leaves extract can keep coming in the tea until you drink it. Avoid use of sugar as sugar will reduce its fat burning effects and adds to calories.

  • Green Tea Weight Loss Supplements

If green tea leaves are not available in your near market than green tea supplements are available in the market. Green tea extracts are prepared by many companies. Novanat is one of the leading company selling green tea extracts. You can buy online. But the fact remains that the natural; the better.

How Green Tea can Work Effectively?

To loose weight one should not only rely on green tea use but exercise and a diet plan should also be followed. Green tea alone cannot give effective results. Green tea increase your metabolism as does exercise as a result you will burn more calories than ever before.

If you do exercise in your routine and you are drinking green tea too it will also help in maintaining normal body weight. It means that you will not gain extra weight.

Coffee is full of caffeine, though new researches says that caffeine is good for health but in moderation.

Coffee is full of caffeine and until recently it was said that heavy caffeine consumption may also lead to greater chances of developing cancer. Coffee is as dangerous to health as tobacco and cigarette. Better drink green tea because green tea is full of antioxidants and other health boosting chemicals.

This information is very useful and significant. I had no idea about this. I'm going to slowly change coffee for green tea.

I did extensive research on it on the internet and through books and I came to the conclusion that green tea is as good as it is least processed. It means that commercial products that contain green tea extracts or essence are not that useful as the real green tea leaves.
