Facts About How You Can Naturally Increase or Add Your Height at 18 and 21 or Even After It

Updated on August 24, 2014

We are taught that after puberty, the adolescent period, we no longer grow. Our height reached its maximum and our body stops excreting growth hormone. Indeed, this is true, however, this truth has some changes to it. Today, there are methods that can help us increase our height even after puberty.

Helpful Facts

Research shows that we continue to grow after puberty, although the progress is not so significant. We can barely notice that we have increased our height. In addition to that, other disorders, such as scoliosis, osteoporosis, etc., can alter our posture thus we become short.

A regular diet is important to fuel the body to grow taller. A balanced meal of carbohydrates, proteins and fats is required for the body, not some fad diet. Consume lots of vegetables and fruits because they are packed with vitamins and minerals. Keep your bones strong by consuming food and drink rich in calcium and vitamin D. By eating healthy, you fuel your body to keep growing and to increase height.

Under the Knife

Surgery is not the best method there is but may still produce good results for your height. This process is painful, costly, and you will be burdened with the post surgery pain for many months before you are fully healed.

Trick or treat

You can do these things to make you look taller. Put insoles and heels to add height without any effort. Improve your posture and do not slouch. You can also wear shirts with vertical stripes to give a visual impression that you are tall.

Increase Height with Exercise

Doing an exercise has many benefits to the body, and this includes your height. It keeps the bones flexible and strong, and it stimulates the production of growth hormones. When you stretch, you do not just prevent injury but you also stimulate the muscles and the bones to extend. Swimming, bicycling, running, and jumping exercises are good activities to promote growth. You can also perform yoga as a way to increase height. Note: Developing big muscles can actually slow down or hinder growth so try not to have big and bulky muscles.

Increase Sleep, Increase Height

Time and again, sleep for 7 to 8 hours a day and reward your self with rest during the day. Your body recuperates during this time and it is the best moment for the body to grow and add height. If you lack of it, you may not get the full benefit of having enough rest.

About CGF...

CGF supplies the body with nucleic acid which helps the cells regenerate. This leads to your body being rejuvenated. CGF also has special substances that may contribute to a functioning immune system. Because CGF keeps the body “well-oiled”, you won’t easily be affected by the effects of wear and tear; this includes chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension. It keeps your immunity up to roof level to ward off common diseases like flu.

Increase Height Naturally

You can find most herbal medicines, such as CGF or chlorella growth factor, in the TV which say that you can add a few inches to your current height even after 21. The ads may look promising and convincing, but most of these products are not really approved by the FDA or that there is not enough medical research as to the efficiency of these products. So if you ever think of using herbal or alternative medicine, you need to be cautious and knowledgeable of these products.

Growing is Possible after Puberty

Not everyone of us are born the same, so what may happen to others may not happen to you. If some still adds more inches to their height after puberty, it does not mean that you will do the same. However, you can still grow, albeit slowly, if you follow the suggestions listed above. It is up to you how patient and persevering you are to do it.
