How Would You Live Your Last Day On Earth? Author Emunah La-Paz
Some of us have accepted that death is a part of life. Those of us who have dealt with death through personal experiences may cope better than others.
I did an article awhile back on, ‘How Can We Overcome Death Anxiety?’ In which a fellow writer provided resourceful information due to her personal experience, Denise W. Anderson, shared that she used to fear death until she took a class on how to accept death in an understanding light.
Observing life and living life are two different concepts. The unsettling fact about death is that it is final. Few people have returned to explain the concept of the afterlife.
Which leads us to the core of this article, How would you live your last day on earth?
Do you live everyday as if it were your last day on earth?
The Top Ten Things People Would Do During Their Last Day On Earth.
1. Travel to an exotic location
Where Would You Go?
Fellow writer Dashing Scorpio shares, "If I had 24 hours to live on earth I would spend my last day in Maui, Hawaii with my wife.'
This is a popular response, however most people wish to take off to an exotic island due to the fact that they have never left the country. Traveling to an exotic far away place is dream for many people, and a bucket list favorite.

2. Treat people with kindness
Love One Another
Participating in random acts of kindness is an action most people would like to do, however living in an untrustworthy world prevents some people from trying to reach out to others. Yet if were your last day on earth making yourself vulnerable towards helping others is a small gesture, doing a good deed before you leave this earth gives a person a personal sense of self gratification.

Come On Goooood! Give Me Another Chance Big Guy!
Bargaining with God in hopes of living longer is a common emotion, which has proved to work out favorably. A popular favorable account which took place many years ago was the healing of an obedient King named Hezekiah.
Hezekiah faithfully strengthened Judah by expanding its borders, and by having the people enhance their crops through the value of tithing. Hezekiah built an underground tunnel to bring water in Jerusalem, in case of an attack.
Eventually Hezekiah was faced with an illness in which he took his grief to God, not so much in a bargaining manner but in an approach of honor and respect through his faith.
It is noted that through Hezekiah request, God added on 15 years to Hezekiah’s life. Hezekiah’s tunnel still remains intact and is open to tourist.
Bargaining for a longer has worked for many faithful believers who have yet to fulfill their purpose on earth.

Are you stuck in a dead end job?
Most people admit to hating their jobs. They feel stuck and unfilled. Many people also complain about their boss. Having their boss over for dinner would be a Lol, situation.
So of course when facing death many people would take their discontentment out on their boss, and then quit.

6. Confirm Your Love
These Three Words Short And Simple
Do you express your love for your family in a loving manner? It's easy for women to express their love for their family members, however most men have a hard time doing so.
I must admit I don't give out hugs or say, "I love you," as much as I should. I am a person of action and I enjoy expressing my love for people by doing special things for others. I feel that a person can tell someone that they love them, yet treat them like scum. For me actions speak louder than words.
I am aware that there are people who are sincere when they hug and say, "I love you." You can hear it in their voice and feel the warmth in their embrace.
If you only had a little time left on earth, would your family members and close friends know that you loved them?

7. Listen To Others Without Being Self Absorbed
We Have Two Ears So We Can Hear Clearly & One Mouth So We Can Speak Less
Easier said than done folks, we all have opinions and we want to be understood, so we talk more and listen less. But if it were your last day on earth perhaps our listing skills would sharpen.
I have learned that talking more or speaking louder, does not make me smart or right, listing to others with an open heart gives me wisdom.
I have also learned that choosing your friends wisely is important. If I'm going to spend my time listing someone they have to be a person of their word, and lead by example. I must say it's hard to find people who reflect this quality in life.
8. Move Faster In order To Accomplish More.
Could You Please Hurry Up!
Something a parent would say to their kids. In life some of us are not in hurry to go anywhere, perhaps because we don't like where we're going most of the time.
School, work, the grocery store, the post office, and other boring duties fail to excite us. So perhaps trying to implement more fun activities into our lives would help.
I it was your last day on earth I don't think we would do anything boring, most people would rush out in search of an amazing adventure.

9. Take Time Out To Smell The Roses
What Does That Mean?
Now there are some people who rush through life so fast that they need to slow down, and observe the world around them.
Taking in nature can be therapeutic. What a shame never to take time to walk in a garden or take in a beautiful sunset.
Taking the time to bask in the sunlight is a gift that some of us are too busy to acknowledge.

10. Spend Time With The Children
Children have no concept of time, money, or priorities, they live life freely. If anything children want to spend time playing with their parents. But often parents are too busy providing for their children, and they are exhausted once they return from work. The demands of life can often separate a parent and child bond.
Having children that are all grown up around you during a time of departure can be comforting, but it can also be a sad reflection that your children did not maintain a key role in your life. Children are entertaining to be around, cherish the moment, they grow up so fast.
