How to "Cut" -body composition
Before we know it, summer will be here! We all want that ‘beach body’. But, how do we get it if we have some extra flab? We CUT of course! It’s a pretty simple process; you have to burn more calories than you take in. Sound easy? Well, sounding and actually being are two totally different things. There are a few ways to accomplish this. You could do a lot of cardio, eat very few calories, or, take fat burning supplements.
Cardio is probably the best option out of the three. But, if you care about your muscles, arms especially, be careful. Cardio also makes you lose muscle!
Eating few calories per day is risky, not to mention unappealing! If you don’t eat enough, you will have the same problem as with cardio; muscle loss. Along with your muscle shrinking from not eating enough, you can get sick if you don’t get the right nutrients during the day, so a multivitamin would be a great idea!
Fat burners.. Not only are they the most expensive option, they are also the most risky. Depending on how your body reacts to these stimulants, they can make you sick. For instance, some fat burners make me sick! And, of course, some don’t work! (not to mention, they are fairly pricey!) See my Hub on supplements for assistance in this department. Not to be a broken record here, but, fat burners will destroy your muscles if you aren’t careful!
As you can tell, when you are losing weight, you are also losing muscle. This is just a fact, but, there are a few special circumstances. If you have a lot of weight to lose, and haven’t worked out in a long time, you will notice that your muscles will grow as you lose fat. This won’t last long, so, enjoy it!
It is best if you can do a good amount of cardio (30-45 minutes 4-5 times a week), and, have a clean diet, you will have great success. Eat food low in calories, high in protein. Chicken, fish, and eggs are great options! And of course, WATER! Drink plenty of water throughout the day. This is an important part of losing weight, and staying healthy overall!
