How to Live a Life Worth Living

I am very passionate about motivating people to live the best lives for them. We all have a purpose, and life is too short to be dull.

I want to start off by asking you a question, do you like the life you are living? What I mean is living the life that gives you your meaning and you have at least a small sense of happiness for it, or is it dark and depressing for you and your mind longs for something more? If you answered the latter, know that you are not alone, and that is what we are going to discuss in this article.

Are People Unhappy?

I do not think it takes a scientist or fancy statistics to realize many people are not truly happy with their lives or feel fulfilled with how they are utilizing their lives. Sure, we read studies often about how levels of happiness has never changed and life has been content for many people, but from what I see, and maybe you have to, I think different. The body language, demeanor, expressions, all point to the fact that many people are not feeling the thrills or joys that life can offer. Now I know what some reading this will think, that life is not meant to be easy, or overly joyous for everyone, and everyone comes from different backgrounds and upbringings that can either nurture or hinder the possible joys in life, and that I agree with you. If their is one fact in life, is that their is a place in life for all of us, and whether you believe God, or the universe, or whatever, their must be a reason why for it otherwise it would not exist. With that being said, that does not mean it is an excuse to not work for a better life and live courageously for yourself.

Spawned on this World

I think of life as like a game, meaning we are spawned on this world at the time we are living to do something or set an example. We each were spawned on this world with a mission or purpose in this life and it is our jobs to find out what it is and strive to fulfill that. Now, it doesn't necessarily mean we are all meant to go on and be Alexander the Great or someone legendary, but it can even be for something small. It could be to be a good parent, or to help someone in need, or many people in need. If you are fulfilling your purpose, life will feel complete for you, and no one will ever make you feel otherwise because you know that you are fulfilling what is right for you. It gives you a sense of dignity and power for yourself. If their is one thing that gives us the best feeling about ourselves, is knowing that life is going how we planned it and is continuing to follow that path. Again, life is like a game, we were spawned here at the present time to do something, so we might as well follow that and make it the way we want.

Ask Yourself?

Ask yourself this, is my current situation in life aligned with my vision or what I feel is best for me? I know some of us may be in situations that are out of our control, but that does not give the excuse to play victim and to give up. Instead, we can always take small actions that can set ourselves up for a better or brighter future. If you feel scared about what you feel you need to do, know a few things. One, you are probably in the right place, and two, what do you have to lose? A hundred years from now, do you want to be remembered for fulfilling some legacy of yours, or for nothing at all? All the worries and burdens we have right now, is it going to be what we are remembered for? Or will it be for the experiences and things we have gave to this world while we are here. When it is our time to leave, make sure it is with a smile knowing you did everything right and not with regret or sorrow.

Live the Life you Want

The main point I would like to make is, if you are living on this planet, why not spend your units of your life living and striving for how you want life to be like? Life is short after all, so you might as well make the biggest impact you can while you are here and enjoy what you can bring to it. We are each born with infinite possibilities, so if we were not meant to fulfill something great or purposeful to us, we would not have those infinite possibilities to do anything. Like we were told as kids and believed in it, we can do anything we want to do in this world, and make it how we want. So what are you waiting for, make that decision today to write your life quest.

Interesting concept to teach another how to be happy. Maybe a good song but fully faulty logic.
