Start with the sun salutation postures

Sun Salutation or well-known as Surya Namaskara is a collective order of asanas done in the morning when the sun has just risen. Sun is worshipped in India as a god and this order of salutation is a part of yoga. This order of activities and asanas can be practiced on changing heights of responsiveness, alternating from that of bodily exercise in several styles, to a complete saadhana which combines asana, pranayama, mantra and chakra meditation.

It is usually done facing the sun.
