Make your Day Go Your Way

Why is we take so little time for ourselves. We are so busy on our computers Hmmm!!! Doing all kinds of activities we don't realize how simple it would be to change just a few small things and make a huge difference in our lives.

When we wake up, hopefully feeling good if we took the time to go to bed at a decent hour we should start beginning our day with a few easy stretches. Just a little deep breathing and stretching can make a big difference in our crowded day.

Take time to brush your teeth and floss. I always floss in the morning. You may be too tired to do it in the pm but in the am always give your teeth some much needed TLC. If you can brush after every meal or at least rinse with water after meals to get rid of food particles.

See your dentist yearly. This is important for heart health also .Any infection in your mouth can easily lead to heart problems.

Wash your face thoroughly .This is a good time to open up those clogged pores. Once a week take some time to use and over the counter deep scrubbbing facial with Alpha hydroxy acid . Your face will thank you. Now use some sunscreen on your face and especially the often forgotten neck area. If you're in a hurry a little concealer. mascara, blush and lip gloss goes a long way.

Next make up your bed, you will be shocked how much better you will feel.

Try to eat a decent breakfast. Hopefully some fruit and protein, even a boiled egg and strawberries or orange will do.

Mix one tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar with tomato juice and drink an ounce twice daily as a great antioxidant.

Take a few moments for your spiritual life. Be it reading a devotional, reading the Bible or praying with a dear friend.

Try to spend a few minutes outside. Do a little weed pulling or walk the dog. Try to take in nature and listen to the wonderful sounds of the world God has given us.

With the fall weather upon us walking even 2 or 3 blogs every day can add years to your life.

If you smoke STOP.

Take a day each week to spend with a friend . Grab a quick lunch or cup of coffee at the bookstore.

Don't try to cram so much into your day that you feel overwhelmed..God is in control no matter what you do.

Spend time catching up with an old friend. Pick a different one each week. It makes for an amazing connection and will brighten both your days.

Do something kind for someone. Send a sweet note or bake some bread for a neighbor for no reason at all.

Connect with your family if possible. Family will always be there for you work will not.

Try to reward yourself with a monthly massage. Not only is it relaxing but releases many toxins. Check Groupon or Living Social for some great deals on both massages or facials.

Don't overdo exercise. Give your muscles time to recuperate. Every other day is plenty. If you can soak in a hot tub or take a hot shower to increase blood to your sore muscles after a workout.

Bedtime don't forget your face and drop into bed. Buy some inexpensive facial wipes at Costco or Family Dollar and wipe all the day's make up and grime off your face. Smooth on some inexpensive cream . I like ROC that I purchase with a coupon at Costco once a year. Use some witch hazel for astringent if you are prone to breakouts. Brush your teeth well and don't forget your Calcium.

Learn what is really important in life. If something is bothering you ask yourself it will make any difference in 10 years. Nine times out of ten it will not and you are getting yourself overstressed for something very inconsequential.

Now you can climb into bed feeling like you accomplished something.
