How to create the life you want

Updated on March 11, 2015

All about focus

Life can be very complicated or very simple and easy it all up to you. If you take one thing at a time and give your total focus to just one specific thing at a time you're making life easy and simple for yourself. On the other hand, if you are focusing on multiple things at different times your making a hell for yourself.

Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.

— George Bernard Shaw

The categories of your life

Life can be broken down into 4 main categories; relationships, health, wealth and spirit. If you sort these 4 categories out in your life you are set. Make these changes in your life once and you don’t have to worry about it ever again.

Relationships, Health, Wealth and Spirit

Relationships

Relationships are all the connections you have with people. Believe it or not humans are social creatures and we need relationships in our lives and yes, even introverts need relationships. The category “relationships” includes family, friends and partner.

If you really want to build strong relationships in your life make people feel special. Leave people better off than you’ve found them. People remember you in how you made them feel when you talked to them.

Health

Health is always changing with age and with seasons. Young or old can always work on their health. This includes body, mind and general health. The best thing you can do to stay healthy is to release stress often and relax.

It’s a good idea to get some excise as well at least 3 times a week. It has been said when you workout you release depressed emotions. Working out has multiple benefits our bodies were made to be used.

Wealth

Many people will have guild about wealth. You can be happy without wealth most people will say. But you might as well be happy with wealth. The main point is wealth brings comfort and reduces stress, so don’t feel guilty about money.

Wealth includes a lot of things. It includes your career, investments and much more. Everything to do with money falls into the wealth category.

To get wealthy, you need a clear plan, vision and determination to work for it. You don’t always have to work hard to become rich, but some effort is acquired it all depends on how you go about it.

Spirit

The spirit is a very interesting topic. If you're in touch with your feelings your in touch with your spirit. Spirit includes religions, purpose, connecting with yourself and feeling bigger than yourself.

Spirit can be many things, but following your passion and purpose in life is the one thing that connects you to your spirit.

You only live once

Not many people think about that they will some day. Most people just live the same old day over and over being truly unhappy and not willing to do something about it.

Just think about it, if you aren’t happy you are wasting your life on this planet. Do you have time for people who make you feel less than you are? I don’t think you do. Do the things that make you happy. It’s really simple to do it, just feel what feels good to you and go do it.

Now I don’t suggest just leaving everything and go on an irresponsible streak. But you get the idea do more of the things that make you happy.

Find enjoyment in everything you do

You can truly find enjoyment in everything you do. Just try to find the joy. Washing the dishes can feel like a meditation. Most of the time, if I want to find joy in something I pretend it’s a game I’m playing or I set a challenge for myself to do the best job I can.

Life is there to enjoy and have fun. Design your life in a way that would make your life your own little haven. The best thing you can do for yourself is to wake up and start enjoying life.

Beauty is everywhere, seek it and be the best you can be for yourself.
