Dandruff might be dry or oily depending upon the skin type and the weather conditions.

Causes of Dandruff

Generally unhealthy habits, climatic conditions, skin types-be it dry or moist are considered to be the cause of such flaky discharge. Skin cells are prone to shed in order to permit new ones to come up. Same is with the skin cells of scalp. But with this dandruff, the shedding of skin increases from that of normal and so does increase the embarrassment and unhygienic look.
