How to have a more abundant life

Updated on April 30, 2011

We were all born into this world, took our first breath, and begin our journey upon this pathway called "Life." This pathway confronts a traveler (and we all are travelers) with hills and valleys, and smooth places at periods of time, and rough places at bad times. It does not matter, whether or not one is a male or female, young or old. It matters not if one is Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Shinto, Hundu, or follow any other spiritual "Ways," there are certain critical factors that we all must attend to in order to have a more abundant life.

There are those who follow the teachings of Jesus (they profess their belief in Christianity), and they try to adhere to the ways of Jesus, attempting to walk upon the pathway that he walked upon. Most of Jesus' followers (and I do not say this with reservation) lose their way, not understanding his instruction or ways. St. John 10:10 (a King James rendition) reads, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. It sounds like Jesus is saying that he wants his followers to have a more abundant life. Yet we see many of his followers teaching in such a way as to bring a more abundant life unto themselves rather than to others.

This discourse is not meant to give you all the information that I believe will bring you a more abundant life. There is not enough space and time in this short session to do a more complete job of teaching the concept of "how to have a more abundant life." I do want to teach you, and others who want to know more of my thoughts about it, however.

Consider the following:

1. When you eat, eat well, eat enough, but not too much. But what is eating well and what is enough?

2. When you sleep, sleep well, sleep enough, and treasure the value of sleep for the living of a more abundant life. But what is sleeping well and how much sleep is enough?

3. Pamper your very own immune system, caring for it well, with the knowledge that it exists to help protect you from immunogens, pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, and wild cells (such as cancers). What is your immune system and how does it work to protect you?

I have attempted to share with you a picture of an old woman, she is older that one hundred years, and she has lived a more abundant life. Her picture is not for sale. Her picture is only being shared with you in this discourse to help you see that there are those who have live a more abundant life. Consider this, I am willing to write more on this topic from a position in life that only I can write from. I have lived and worked on all the continents of the world and with many of the worlds people in various roles such as healer, teacher, and Nature farmed foods provider. I write only because I try to help and teach people through my writings. I can touch more people through my writings that by talking to people one-on-one. Time is short and there is not enough time for me to help one person at a time (even though I do some one on one work as I can).

I hope that you enjoy reading my work, and Peace be with you.

I would like to apologize to my readers for my failed attempt to attach a picture of a 108 year old woman (friend)to this article. I am still learing to use the program for hubpages and I will get better with time. Anyway, peace, good health and joy, be with you.
