How I solved my Kid's constipation, indigestion and coli
My child suffered from constipation and consequently loss of appetite. He had great trouble passing motion. Giving more water did not help my child. Luckily I found a method (a recipe) that treated constipation in my baby. I learned this trick through the understanding that it is impossible to avoid toddler constipation without making him eat vegetables. Making child eat this vegetable dish would make him pass motion freely.
Make this vegetable dish and keep in fridge. You can take a little amount daily and give to child. You do not need to prepare this daily. This curry once prepared can be used for 5 days. Just keep in refrigerator. This is a nutritious mix of vegetables in the way babies like it. This particular food would cure gas problem, colic, stomach pain and constipation in babies.

Potato – ½ cup
Drumstick – 4
Onion – slices – ½ cup

Sweet potato – 1 cup
Asafetida – ¼ teaspoon (powder)
Tomato – few slices
Corn – 1 cup
Lemon juice – 2 tablespoon

How to cook vegetable mix for babies
Cook corn separately and keep. Cook corn putting little sugar and little salt. Grind the cooked corn and keep. Put all these vegetables together in a pressure cooker. Let the vegetables get cooked till it becomes soft. After it is cooked, take the pulp from the drumstick and throw away the stick. Now add the corn paste to it. Cook again for few minutes. To the mixture, just add few drops of coconut oil. Add the asafetida powder and cook for some time. Finally add lemon juice. This is optional. Vegetable mix is ready. Keep in fridge. Before you are going to serve it to your child, take a bowl of this vegetable mix. Put a pan in stove, add 1 teaspoon butter and add few slices of tomato (thinly sliced). When the tomato slices get cooked add the vegetable mix. Do not do this for the entire vegetable mix. Only do this for the little amount you are going to serve at present. Adding tomatoes and heating the vegetable mix gives it a new flavor and odor. Your child will like it.

This mix of vegetables is very nutritious for baby. If baby is given few tablespoonful of this vegetable mix, he will be freed from colic, indigestion, stomach pain and constipation. Also you don’t need to daily prepare this dish. The garlic and ginger aids digestion. Garlic and asafetida would bring out gas from baby stomach. Coriander leaves are good for baby eyes. Sweet potato, tomato and butternut squash are highly nutritious foods for infants and toddlers.

Since my child likes vegetables I had no trouble giving him this vegetable mix. I do give him this mix with chappathi (roti), rice, idli, dosa, appam (South Indian foods) and bread. The day I started giving him, this mix, constipation and indigestion disappeared. If your child doesn’t like the taste of vegetables do one thing. Before you serve add an egg (beaten). I will tell you how to do it. After pouring butter to pan, put beaten egg instead of tomato. Cook for 1 minute and add the vegetable mix to it. Now mix well and let the egg and vegetables together get cooked for 2 minutes. Your kids will like this recipe. Likewise take a bowl full of vegetable mix daily from the refrigerator.
