How to set confidence and positive intention for 2015

Updated on March 27, 2015

If you are an ambitious, self-driven person, chances are you have heard the words “confidence” and “intentionbeing thrown about. In confidence coaching for women in business, these are powerful words are used to inspire action and transformation. Intentions are thoughts directed toward a desired outcome, and confidence is the feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities. These two work hand-in-hand in our efforts to achieve our goals and dreams in business.

As a quarter of the year is also done, it’s the perfect time to reflect back on our past achievements and failures, and set new goals and effective plans to realize them. Whether you want to take your business to the next level, increase your finances or get a new business up and running, there are a few steps you can take to ensure that you have set confidence and positive intention to achieve your goals in 2015.

  1. 1. Defy limiting beliefs

We are aware of how powerful the mind is. Intrinsically, you are only as capable as your thoughts. Don’t be defined by logic and reality. Dare to dream big, shun limitations and see the world for its abundance. Open your mind to possibilities; see your personal potential as limitless and beyond what you only imagine.

2. Connect to your inner-self

Set some time aside to meditate and clear your mind. Imagine yourself in your happiest state/place and let the intentions flow to you. Engage all our senses to make it as real in your mind as it’ll be in your envisioned reality

  1. 3. Be specific

After finding revelation, make your intentions clear and precise- exactly what you want to happen, when you want it to happen, where, and with whom you’ll be with. Define every detail.

  1. 4. Write them down

There’s power in a written word. Write all your positive intentions with firm and faith-filled words. Break your goal down into pieces in order to make them realistic and manageable (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.). Set yourself deadlines and create a vision board. This will help you to stay on track and keep you inspired throughout the year.

  1. Take action

Intentions must be paired with hard work. Take it a day at a time. Do something daily that will bring you closer to your goal. Remember, your confidence grows with every time step, and every milestone. Always keep going no matter what.

6. Review them daily.

Lastly, stay in touch with your intentions daily. Mark out what you’ve achieved and rewrite what requires adjustment. Make your intentions so ingrained that your confidence and your actions simply flow from your subconscious. Live your intentions and enjoy the journey to success.
