As another fall approaches there is an increased possibility of a flu epidemic. This is a good time to talk about how to strengthen your immune system without risking your health. You've already heard about flu shots, but are they really the best choice? I would not be taking flu shots this fall and neither will my family. Why? Vaccinations are not a simple shot. Some doctors even call it a surgery on the immune system. Especially with flu shots, which change every year, scientists don't have enough time to research long term effects on human health. Fortunately we live in the 21 century and have a huge market of product available to safely help strengthen our immune system.

I would like to tell you about one of these products which I have already tried. I know it works. About a year ago I was introduced to some products made from Aloe Vera for health and beauty. The gentleman who suggested them to me explained that they had a wide range of benefits, but of course I was skeptical. On the market nowadays there are so many products and every company claims that they are the best. Why should people trust them? Unconvinced, I agreed to try these products for a while. When I started to drink the Aloe Vera gel, my goal was to reduce the number of colds I have and feel more energy in my everyday routine. My research on this plant convinced me that this is an amazing plant. It provides us with the vital vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids which our body needs. Aloe Vera helps our body to get rid of toxins, protect digestive system against ulcer, improve metabolism. With proper nutrition and other factors you can bring you health to its optimal condition. The properties of this plant - cleaning, homeostatic, nutritious, immune-, anti-inflammatory and regenerating - contribute to the restoration and normalization of life and the proper functioning of all organs and body as a whole.

Aloe Vera has been known by doctors for thousands of years to help speed up the natural healing process and bring cellular health. We are getting close to the most important point - to improve the functioning of your organism at the cellular level. When the metabolism at the cellular level is adjusted and gets all the necessary nutrients, the whole body begins to work better.

When all cells start to work normally, our body heals itself. The gel of Aloe has antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties. In 1985, Dr. Mack Analey identified one of the polysaccharides in Aloe Vera, and called it Karizin. Karizin causes immune cells - macrophages to store increasing number of prostaglandin, an anti-inflammatory agent. As a result, Aloe Vera increases the body's resistance to inflammation, infectious diseases, viruses.

Before I started drinking the gel I had a cold three to five times a year. Last year I didn't get one. At this point my skepticism was gone. I believe that Aloe Vera helps the body to operate at an optimal level so that we can carry on our daily routine without interruption.
