Danny Velasco and a Beautiful Redheaded Model Named Wanda ~ A True Story
Carrying a Piece of each Other in Our Hearts
Brothers and Sisters
A beautiful quote by Lee Palmer:
"What shall I bestow upon a friend? Fleeting moments of silent blessings; trust in tomorrow, which is life's hardest task; faith that each new dawn brings daylight's golden pathway to the ever-open door; and a belief that God will be with them though all others go their way."
This video reminds me of my daily hour commute to and from work each way, as it depicts someone driving down the Interstate and the sights, which are pretty close to what I see every morning and evening. I have actually come to enjoy the lovely thoughts that fill my mind with His glory and His glorious creation, along the highway of life. Please travel along with me . . . it takes a minute or two for the video to actually "get on the road." Actually, my real drive into the city is so much more beautiful with the rolling verdant hills and beautiful lakes, ponds and river shimmering in the glorious sunlight. Plus, taking a short cut through the county roads to get to the interstate, I always see something beautiful.
Getting over that Big Mountain Top
Many times in this adventure here called life, we face that huge mountain that attempts to block the path we so choose to move along. However, when we have our brothers and sisters in this big world, which is really not that big considering the vastness of the unending universe, they can come alongside of us to help carry our burdens.
We know that He is always there, but He will also place people right in our paths and lives to help us along this pathway. We need each other. We need that human connection ~ that touch, whether it is through prayer or just taking time out to listen to another.
If you have no idea how you can help another, then prayer is always the most powerful act of love for another that one can give, even if that person is not aware you are praying for him or her. Your prayers matter.
You will be amazed (at least I was) at the following true story of a beautiful redheaded model, who made a choice to carry the burdens of another. You may already know to whom I am referring and of the man she helped by carrying his burdens, as this man was "famous and had it all," in the eyes of the worldview.
Moving Mountains by Having Great Faith
Out of Grace We Reach out to one Another
Before we get to the beautiful redheaded model, I would like to just share some of my personal thoughts here today, of what I have experienced on this pathway of life.
(However, you can, of course, skip on down to the beautiful redheaded model if you so desire - see the video, as it is most powerful ~ all the way to the end.)
Sometimes in this world, when we reach out our hands in love to someone, it can be a beautiful thing. It may be someone who is in obvious distress, and who needs someone to help carry him or her over that huge mountain top. Maybe it's someone who just needs a warm place to sleep and some food to eat or water to drink.
Then there are times, when very tragic events occur in one's life, i.e., tornadoes have destroyed a whole town, lives are lost and families have nowhere to live. There are countless of these huge mountain top scenarios.
When we have that strong faith, we can move those great mountains out of our way, and continue on our path as He reveals it to us. He is always there to help us.
Sometimes carrying the burdens of another, just may be as simple as listening without interrupting.
Other times, He, the LORD, will reveal something in someone so deep to you, that you know you are to reach out to that person in grace, not really knowing why you are called to do so, but it may be something as simple as recognizing some kind of hurt in his or her eyes.
Yet, at other times, when we really do not understand why, there is that strong need in our own hearts to maybe just make another one laugh a little bit to bring a smile to his or her face, or speak kindness into his or her heart.
Still at other times, the very words he or she is speaking, i.e., maybe always joking around, but then when you are truly listening, you realize he or she is doing that to hide a hurt that has been done to that person long ago.
And, yes, even those who are the hardest to love, those who come back with snide remarks or use their mouths to speak harshness towards others, those are the ones He, the LORD, will reveal to us who have been hurt the most.
No matter how hard it may be, we are to show them even more grace than all others. As it is these who have never truly been loved by another. They may not even understand what true love is, that agape love. So their heart is hardened, and when we show them mercy and grace, genuinely, even if never reciprocated, just maybe that hardened shell around their heart will begin to crack a little.
In Proverbs 15:1, God tells us,
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh words stirs up anger."
When we do this, we glorify our LORD. We should not do all this good towards others with the mindset that, "Well, God, I did this and that, so I know You should give me this or that."
When He is truly sealed into our hearts, those types of thoughts are far away as to any worldly treasures. He tells us that we are to store up for ourselves treasures in heaven, not on earth, where thieves break in and steal, where moths destroy or rust ruins.
We can all make an eternal difference while we are still here on this planet, as this planet is passing away. It is temporal, and not our true home.
We do not have to wait for the right time to go on a mission trip to reflect God's love towards others. We can carry their burdens by praying for them, as it is those who we may stumble upon in our daily lives, we are meant to stumble upon for a reason.
I know a lot of times in the mornings when arriving at the building in which I work, a certain person will enter into the elevator and I can just see something about his or her demeanor or in his or her eyes, a certain sadness or something there. Anyway, it is just a nice thing to connect with people in all areas of our lives, even if it is just giving that person a nice smile, and saying to them,"Have a lovely day." May sound silly, but if you are genuinely sincere, then take the time out of one second of your life and do this simple act of kindness.
Something to be mindful of, however, (as I have done this so many times myself) where we, ourselves, get into trouble, is when we place another person high up on a pedestal, therefore, destined for disappointment, as that person is merely another human being. That person will sooner or later fall off that pedestal that we have lifted him or her so high upon. When we do this, we are not helping this person at all. Also, in doing such, we are not helping ourselves, nor glorifying God, but simply another person. This is just something that I have learned the hard way on this pathway called life.
This does not mean we are not to encourage others, no doubt, as we are to encourage each other as part of carrying their burdens, just make sure we are not making them our God.
We should be the hands and feet of our Lord while we are still here on this planet, as that is why we are still here, This is just something I really believe, for what other very profound reason are we still here? If not, He would have taken us on before now.
I thank you for your patience in reading some of my thoughts here.
Vogue ~ Wanda, the Beautiful Redheaded Model ~ God Loves All
If you'd rather go ahead and see the beautiful redheaded model, just scroll down and watch the video, as it is most powerful.
One Sunday, a powerful video was played about the testimony of a once great celebrity stylist who was in high demand with Vogue to do the hair of the most beautiful models in the world. You may have already figured out to whom I am referring . . .
A beautiful redheaded model saw this man, who made over $3,000 a day, and he worked every day, while working with Vogue. He was on top of that mountain peak, so he thought. She just saw something in him that troubled her, and told him that he was in trouble, and she would pray for him. Then . . . listen to this powerful testimony in his very own words of how this beautiful red headed model carried his burdens, without him truly being aware of it at the time.
This person went from earning $3,000 a day, but then he began spiraling down and ended up homeless on the streets of New York. This video is so powerful and so very worth your time, trust me on this one!
All because a beautiful redheaded model reached out to him, stepping out in faith, knowing our God heals, Danny lived to tell us about his life experiences. His words of his story are more powerful than what I could ever write here. Please watch and see the love shown and its powerful results through Christ.
Please remember he is speaking his very own words about his true life experiences.
Danny Velasco's Powerful Testimony ~ This Girl, Wanda, Is Nuts!
In Galations 6:2, God tells us:
"We are to carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
The following video is, of course, about carrying each other, and not really about a one-on-one personal relationship. I interpret this song to mean that we are to carry each other's burdens as one, although we may be different------- all belonging to the human race. We should leave all that past junk behind where we have harmed each other with respect to the fact that we may be different than one another, even though we are really the same --- just humans.
Carry each Other
I could not even imagine living one day on this planet without my personal and intimate relationship with our LORD.
Interesting Tidbit (maybe)
Back in the day, when I was just 19, I saw U2 in concert in Tampa, Florida, and they were actually the warm-up band to the J. Geils Band (you know, "My Baby is a Centerfold") Ugg! LOL, what a bad combination there!!! Although U2 was not even known, I really loved them when they came on stage, and God bless them, the crowd at the Tampa Bay Arena actually booed them, and Bono got so mad that he smashed his guitar on stage and, well, had some choice words for the audience, which I do not blame him one bit. I felt so bad for them back then, but, hey, payback time now no doubt!!! LOL Love You U2
