I Want to Lose Weight Tonight

Losing weight can be tough. You want to be able to melt off the pounds quickly, but sometimes it is harder than it seems. If you want to be able to lose a bit of weight quickly before a big event, you may be searching for the answers.

Keep in mind that quick weight loss plans may work temporarily, but they aren’t a long term fix. You will not be able to stay on these for a long time and still keep losing weight. But if you just have a few vanity pounds to shed, they could be the answer you are looking for.

The Cabbage Soup Diet

The cabbage soup diet is not very tasty, but it can be effective. The idea is you cook up some cabbage soup, in bulk, and keep it on hand for the next week. Any time that you are hungry, eat some of the cabbage soup.

Sometimes you are able to add in some other foods to the diet, but you are primarily eating the cabbage soup. Since it is really filling with practically no calories, you are losing weight without feeling deprived!

Finding a Detox

There are many great detoxes that you can try out. Go online and you will find some direct sales individuals who are offering detoxes that will clear out your system and help you lose weight. If you only have a few days, you may find this is a great route.

The Juice Diet

Juicing has been a great way to lose weight quickly. It still provides you with a lot of nutrients that you need to stay healthy, but it is still low in calories at the same time. It can work as a detox to get rid of the toxins, fills you up, and helps the weight to just come off.

There are a number of ways that you will be able to do this. Some people go a few days only drinking the juices. Others will replace a few meals with juice and then have a full meal at the end of the day.

Make sure to find a wide variety of juices recipes to make to help keep the taste good and to mix it up a little bit.

Sweat it Like a Boxer

This option can take some time to get down and should only be used for short term weight loss. Be careful about dehydration during the time and stop if you start to feel too sick.

The idea is that you are going to sweat out the weight. A few days before starting, you will drink a ton of water. Pretty much drink some water all day long. This is going to make the body want to release it quickly, rather than storing it, and can help with the weight loss.

Once you are on the diet, you will decrease your water consumption to almost nothing. Think like a few glasses a day at most! You will stick with complex carbs, such as vegetables, and lots of protein.

During this time, you will also focus on going to saunas, taking hot baths, and doing as much as you can to expel the water weight. You may consider exercising, but wait and see how your body feels.

If you have done this properly, you could end up losing 20 pounds in about a week. Do not go for longer than the week or you could cause some serious damage to your body. Slowly start adding more water back into the diet to rehydrate.

Intermittent Fasting

This one can sometimes be used for the long term if you plan it out right. But to lose weight quickly, you will need to take it to the extreme. With this one, you will limit yourself to about 500 to 700 calories for two or three days.

The idea behind this diet is that you will not go into starvation mode within these few days. Instead, the body may actually turn up the metabolism a bit to help burn more calories. So you are eating less and burning more without a lot of work.

If you go over the three days though, you will need to vary the diet in order to get more calories. There are various versions of intermittent fasting and you can choose one that works for you if you’re interested in long term using this.

      Based on my experience, I ate 21 date palms (Phoenix dactylifera) everyday for a week. I also did some cardio exercises, such as jogging.

      My bodyweight loses 2 - 4 pounds a week.
