I love Jogging
I can’t wait to write this hub. Because based my experience and I like doing this activity. I want you to know that I was concerned about healthy life. So I try to life in the right way. I want to share the simplest activity. I know it looks hard to do regularly but I promise we’ll get a lot of benefit by doing this exercise. Now, I want to talk about jogging. This is like a daily circle activity for me. After prepare my slept to reach good quality of sleep. And then after wake up doing stretches, drinking water, take a deep breath, and then keep moving until my body felt warm. Before take a shower I love doing this exercise. I mean I love jogging. I usually do this four times in a week.
The benefit of jogging:
Doing jogging regularly gave us better condition and other health benefit. Jogging also gives physical and mental pleasures. I know most of us want a proof. This was commonly happen to us, before doing something or imitating others we need proof. Okay…. I’ll share to all of you the benefit of jogging. Jogging give us fixed benefits for overall health.
- Makes the heart stronger. Which increasingly facilitate blood circulation and good for respiration.
- Jogging is good to overcome digestive problems.
- Neutralize depression.
- Increasing capacity to work and lead an active life.
- Jogging helps burn your fat and good to overcome obesity.
- Jogging is also good to increase our appetite, if we have a problem with eating disorder.
- Jogging will strengthen legs muscle, thighs and back.
- Jogging make sleep more soundly.
What do we get from jogging?
Jogging is also give you pleasure, both of physically and mentally. If jogging has done correctly, you wouldn’t felt tired after finished your tour. You get nice feelings in your muscles during the jogging and afterwards. You will feel the wind blowing around your body and your face. You can listen to the sound of birds chirping. You can hear the sound of flowing water, or sound waves in the ocean (if you do so at the waterfront). Personally, I am glad to see the beautiful scenery during jogging and felt the fresh air. The best part is I can rest for a while from pollution. During the jogging you can also feel a sense of excitement.
Clothes and Shoes
The important thing before jogging is prepare something, like clothes and shoes. I thought we want something comfortable during jogging, right. The clothes you wear should match the weather conditions. In warm weather, shorts and t-shirt are quite comfortable to wear. However, if you choose the far distance route, you could bring extra clothes in a small bag, just in case if the air so bad. Choose clothing that can provide good ventilation, avoid full of stitches or the sharp edges which wrap your body tightly.
Jogging is related with part of leg, so better to wear soft and comfortable shoes. With the shape that fits for the leg. Select the base can be bent and support for every movement of your feet, so it does not make you slip.
Route and Jogging session
Jogging can be reach in various ways. If we talk about route is back to our condition, if we have healthy problem, better to consult with the doctor. There are many types of routes we can try. The long distance is between 2 until 20 km in regular speed. The short distance is between 3 until 6 km in high speed. For the average speed we can choose the distance between 4 until 8 km. Based on my experience, the quality of jogging is came from the regularly jogging and not depend on the distance. We can felt weak and tired if we choose 20 km once in a month. Better choose 3 until 6 km but twice in a week, right.
How doing a jogging session?
You can slowly moving with little effort in a few hundred meters to warm up your muscles for the first session. And then slowly add your speed. If you've done half the route, you can outrun your capacity. If the route is long enough, you can take two or three spurts using nearly full capacity. For the last hundred meters distance slowly your movement. For first of all, you must run at the same place for 10 minutes. Then you can add time, distance and speed when you get used.
Stretching your body after a couple of session
I thought we all know about this. So I recommend you to stretch before doing the first jogging session. It’s not just on your leg muscles, but also the whole body, do it for 2 minutes before and 3-4 minutes later.
When and how often
If jogging is the only one exercise, better do it once every two days. That was good enough to provide all health benefit and good to improve our condition to stay on top. But if you combine jogging with other sports, do it twice a week is good enough for health. You should not do jogging after eating, although you feel hungry. You can do it anytime, but it's a good idea to do jogging as the first activity in the morning. You can get fresh air in the morning and it is a good time to get sun rays which contain vitamin D.
