Feeling Sexy = Being Sexy
I can't stress the importance of self image enough, regardless of what you expect to accomplish, you need to be confident in your ability to do it. It doesn't matter what you look like, who you are, or where you live, you will be perceived better by more more people if you have a sense of confidence about you. Job interviews, business meetings, dating, or asking for that first date all have one thing in common, what do you suppose that is? If you have trouble with this question, maybe you'll read this hub and use it to inspire you to make some adjustments in how you view your self, and ultimately change your life. Remember feeling sexy equals being sexy.
In the Mirror
If you look in the mirror and don't like what you see you have to ask your self why, what is it about myself that I'd like to change? Take some time to explore this question, look deep with in yourself. Don't be overly critical, but be honest, you can't lie to your self; if you do there is no reason for you to be reading this. Focus on things you can change, there's no point in fretting because you have freckles, you can't do any thing about it, and besides lots of people find them adorable. Even if you do like what you see when you look in the mirror there's always room for improvement, so if you've read this far go a head and do the following it couldn't hurt.
Make a List
Make a list of the things you think you could work on to improve your self image. It could be anything, maybe updating your wardrobe, or getting a hair cut, or getting in shape, or furthering your education. You might include any type of goal that is reasonable and doable. The smallest accomplishments can have an affect on how you feel about yourself. Its not really important what you decide to put on your list, what's important is committing to it and doing something about it. I would suggest prioritizing your list, you might start with whatever would be the easiest and take the least amount of time. If you see results more quickly you will be more likely to stick with it. I do this on a regular basis, it gives me a sense of purpose, and a sense of accomplishment when I meet my goal.
Once you have your list and you know what goal you want to meet first you need a plan of action. A plan that will take you from where you are to where you want be. Some goals may not require a plan of action while others will. If it involves more than one or two steps you should probably write out a plan outlining how you can accomplish it. It's so easy to get side tracked, so everything you can do to help you stay on track will be worth the effort. Many people may think that with their busy life they don't have time to write out goals and action plans, but you usually save time by having a well developed plan. Plus it will help you to stay on task and not get discouraged.
Setting goals and accomplishing them can have a tremendous affect on your self image and confidence, and confidence is sexy. Thank you for reading, and have a lovely day.
