Why you Should not take Life for Granted?

The actual meaning of taking life for granted

I so often hear and even I use these lines ''taking life for granted,'' but what do you think it really means?

If you let life pass by and fail to experience special moments this is now without seeing your life for its real meaning.

The purpose of enjoying life is to achieve your goals, and to use the opportunity of life in order to fulfill your dreams.

Don't sit and let the days go by without facing up to any challenges.

Make use of your days rather than take life for granted.

Life is too short for squeals you have to move on and make it worthwhile.

  • Make life fun and believable.

Expecting too much from life and not appreciating life is another issue for many people.

Taking risks without giving the opportunity a careful thought and without even thinking about the consequences is another chance in life.

The recklessness in which you choose to do so makes it all too much to cope with.

Taking life like a pinch of salt is something you shouldn't do.

Think of life as a precious gift the one that is not wrapped in a bow but is a delicate gift to nurture and grow with each day.

Moaning is normal but you don't have to do it all the time.

Love your life for what it is not for what you struggling for and won't be.

When you are young life doesn't mean as much and the people close to you are not appreciated enough.

When older you look at life differently and then realize how much of your life you took for granted.

Don't feel like you owed a life, you deserve to hear others speak and speak for yourself.

Respect life.

Practice what you preach.

Life has many great opportunities and you should enjoy the gift as you won't have another life to do that in instead do it today.

The beauty of life is seen by you, and only you.

  • Why take for life granted?

Every day things are just expected of you and that is why one feels taken for granted.

An example of life being taken for granted.

A stay home mom has many responsibilities she takes care of the kids while her husband works.

The many skills used to organize her daily chores and to keep everything up to date at home can take a toll on oneself.

When the husband arrives home he expects his food on time and this kind of routine can go on from day-to-day.

Control and effort is required.

He takes her for granted until one day she leaves him.

The problem is his focus he does not see what is going on. His focus is on what he needs from her not about her and the woman he married.

You start to miss something or someone when all is gone.

The saddest thing of all is when taking life for granted that can ruin you emotionally.

  • Appreciate your life one day you won't have that special gift and then what?

Often you want the things that you can't afford or have but think about stuff you miss out on.

Be grateful for the little that you have avoided what you are unreachable in this way you will be happier.

You always want more and more from life not realizing how gets to it.

Gratitude opens your life and allows you to have enough of everything.

Accepting what you have is often hard to express and sometimes what you have is never enough.

Never be too greedy and continue to buy and stock stuff or goodies. You don't often get to use for yourself.

In relationships as I have mentioned about the man and his wife.

The husband works on most days and later comes home to expect his basic needs.

Many relationships go bad for that traditional reason. The actual marriage and relationship is overlooked.

It gets to the point where you can't do it anymore. Much later after everything has been ruined then only does one see their wrongful behavior.

You won't always have it taking something for granted is thinking it will always be there. You never think of when the person or something will not be in front of you.

Like if your loved one, this can be your family, friend, your partner, and even your children fall seriously ill. Suddenly, you think of the worst and don't know how to approach the situation.

Most people who don't have much will do anything to have it.

You should think carefully about taking life, the precious gift for granted.

Look at how other people live, like the less fortunate.

They are fine and happy with their lives. When you have more you don't think further or look further than what you have for yourself. In some cases one does not pay attention to what they have become.

  • What are your choices in life?

You remember the choices you made in your life that reveals your true character. Live your very own life to be yourself.

Don't blame others for your wrong doing, be responsible for what you do and say.

Choices made by you shouldn't be on the reflections of others.

To learn from your mistakes is very important.

Your personal life should be free to explore and be happy with career your choices.

Find confidence in what you do make decisions about your life the moment you think of it.

Observe those special moments those moments you don't forget so easily.

Avoid fear it would only drag you down.

Comparing your life to others is not he purpose of your life.

Be the helpful, courageous person you choose to be hangout with confident people and see how life treats you.

To know life you must treat life to feel good. Imagine you treated your life with no respect definitely your life will make you feel down and miserable.

The person who loves you will always be there for you. Don't push that person away.

One day you will regret that choice and will forever hold yourself responsible for your stupid behavior.

Make time for everything in life, and accept your way of life.

Apologize if you need and when the chance comes along, and love those beside you for all times.

Improve on yourself and be the better person than you were in the past.

Never stoop to any other person's level but your own level.

The only one chance has to make things right for you.

Be proud of you, nobody said life is a rosy or soft cushion, there are mountains to climb or valleys to roll over whichever one you choose is the good one for you.

The little things you enjoy in life shows great appreciation.

You should be lucky to be fit and walking there are some people who would love to be you.

Unfortunately they are in wheel chairs.

Taking life for granted blinds you from the reality of what you don't want to see the reality of life itself.

Do you take your partner for granted?

Is your life taken for granted?

Do you ever think of the little things which make your life grateful?

Is life boring or useful to you?

How do you treat your life?

Is life taken for granted with age?

You get older and get used to what you have and do for a living and let the years go by you unnoticed.

Life is Short and Precious

billys1 thanks for sharing a part of your story here time flies by and in such times everything falls apart, life is precious and taking life for granted is how most people and live not thinking about themselves and their lived ones, stay positive and think of the good things in life of a beautiful day or someone be cheerful and challenges you can pass through this time take care

I agree with you CathytotheCore. I am a semi-retired Drug and Alcohol Counselor and advised many people every day as to what how they should live their lives yet I was always afraid to seek advancement in my profession for better pay and more responsibility and afraid to speak my mind at office meetings as to additional programs that the clinic that I was working at could offer. I lost a great many opportunities to further the patients care and my advancement and I am no longer connected with the clinic so I I am not able to recoup any lost opportunities there all due to fear, fear of not being taken seriously, being seen as having silly ideas etc. Fear can waste such a great part of our lives. I am working on overcoming this so that I can still accomplish some good things while I still have this lifetime to do it in.

So true! Fear is the number one thing that has held me back on too many occasions. Yet I'm always the first one to give someone else advice to move on past fear! LOL

billybuc, you are so right on the button. Every day is a brand new beautiful gift to us from Our Maker and we should never waste it by letting others drag their black clouds of gloom into our neighborhood. Let the sun shine in.. Like you billy, I to should be dead and buried but I am not. Cancer, Car accidents and other things haven't got to me. I guess He Still has work for me down here on earth. Lots of love to all. :-)

      Hi

Devika, after the death of my daughter {28} I take nothing for granted in this life, and appreciate everything I have got more dearly. My love of nature has seen me through some dark days, and the love of my wife makes life an important gift which can not be replaced by material things.

A most profound hub that is up to your usual standard of writing . This hub is thought provoking and should make people stop and think very clearly if they are not to self orientated. Thank you for sharing. Voted up.

This is such a great truth here, as one never knows whether one will even have a tomorrow, as I know well after having breast cancer. God healed me, so I am still here for a reason, and I never take one day for granted!

      Voted up ++++ and sharing

I should have died seven years ago. Do you think for a second that I take life for granted? Every single day is a gift for me and I love this gift I've been given. :)
