Is Sleep Better Than Sex?
The short of it is that in a recent poll taken of women, the question was asked and the results were....
What is more important? sex or sleep? They both start with S. Let's look at sex. The anticipation, the endorphins, the sensual touch, soft caressing, gentle probing and licking, intense kissing, the sweat all end in ecstacy, hopefully simultaneously, but more often than not, not! Then, guilt invades and on subsequent attempts, the guilt simply makes matters harder and worse. If it happens enough times, anxiety sets in, truly paralyzing feelings. Couples talk about it, get upset, have feelings hurt, the more times things fail.
If everything is in sync, the whole act culminates to Alpen heights within minutes. The buildup may take much longer, but usually maintaning control gives way to the rushing moment, then, afterwards, its all downhill.
Sleep, on the other hand, is the closest to death one had while being alive. Your body recuperates from the day, you mind may take you far into the past or future in bizarre scenarios that seem to vanish as soon as you awake. You recall bits and pieces, ponder about it or its meaning until the activities of the day simply erase memory of it. Some are very creative. Musicans often cite they are able to create melodies. Like Paul McCartney's " Yesterday". Sleep is a personal refuge from problems. More importantly, sleep will last 5-8 hrs. Everyone needs sleep to survive. Going a few nights without a good sleep will run you down, make you irritable, cut into your drive and many other things. Physically, it makes you look like hell and your mind is "out there".
Most women felt sleep was much more important than sex.
