Is the FDA Really Looking out for Us?

Updated on February 26, 2011

Too Much too fast

Playing with Human Lives for the Sake of Profit

It has come to my attention as it should yours, that too many so called statin drugs which are generic versions and also some approved divices, some of which have been upgraded and other new  drugs have injured, disabled, and killed an alarming number of patiants, bringing numerous lawsuits to the companies that manufacture them. It is high time that the American people should be given protection against companies that are hogging the market of drug manufacturing all in the name of profit. Not only are faulty drugs being rushed out onto the market, there are faulty devices as well. It is my opinion that the drug companies and medical labs are taking advantage of the dispair of the American people whoes insurance companies can afford to pay for their sicknesses and injuries with little questioning or investigation. This needs to be stopped now! If our federal and state legislature bodies really care about saving money then they oughtt to just stop picking on the restuarent industry as well as tobacco companies and come to terms with what these giant companies and labs are costing the taxpayers in revenue as well as lives. The federal government ought to get off of its duff and be made aware of the millions of dollars being doled out in all of these class action lawsuits. While side effects are quite common, these drugs are being allowed in the markets with too many side effects and are put out too quickly. We need more testing and independent scientists too study the long term effects of these drugs and devices despite the dispair of the people who use them. It has been reported in all of the major medias that kickbacks to doctors as well as many clinics are costing this country a furtune and driving the cost of health insurance up. There is no wonder these fat cats are lobbying to protect these drug companies and labs. They are making money in the stock markets on a grand scale. They furthermore are being granted money by house and congress representatives who are geting millions of dollars in so called pork barrel money for their districts. Mr. Obama and leading senate and house majority leaders republican and demacrats, it is hight time you use your clout to clean up this curruption in the FDA as well as these major drug labs and manufacturers and put an end to ear marked projects that involve bringing in new companies that are either under suspicion, or have already had countless major lawsuits against them. I strongly incourage all American citizens to begin a campaign by launching petitions to support non curruption in these major fields that literally hold the lives of countless, trusting Americans in their hands. By working with your representatives on the state and federal level and working with organizations that advocate protecionism for the American consumer, we can make a difference. Every consious and meaningful effort that we can make to save wasted money in our government can and will make a difference in our present and future generations to come.

Your Doctor should be there for You

The FDA relies solely on the information provided by the drug industry. The FDA is not an independent testing agency, they are just information crunchers.

The FDA just adds about one billion dollars to the cost of o drug, and by its dismals results of the many dangerous drugs that they have stamped, they are not worth a billion dollars.

Since the FDA took over monitoring the drug industry, we have not had a single CURE. The last one that I could find was the Salk Vaccine for Polio, and that was before the FDA was involved.

I may be wrong but I suspect that the fda if not corrupt is just incompetent. Then again what do I know?
