Japanese diet plans for weight loss. Japan has been hit by the Banana Diet it's pretty simple and great for me I love bananas and usually eat one every morning.
Here's how it goes.
One or Two Bananas in the morning
One glass of room temperature water
optional snack at 3 p.m.
Eat whatever you want for lunch and dinner. ( I would suggest eating healthy foods and not as much as you want.)
No desserts at all
Alcohol consumption is discouraged
No food after 8:00 pm.
Go to bed by 12:00 pm
There's been a run on bananas in Japan they can't keep them in the store.
The diet was designed by Sumiko Watanabe for her husband who she
claims lost 37 lbs. Sumiko Watanabe is a pharmacist.
Why Bananas are good for you.
Bananas: High in fiber a banana gives an instant, boost of energy. It's said it provides enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout.
High in iron
High in potassium yet low in salt. I know what it's like to get low on potassium. I ended up in the hospital because of this.
They're good for high blood pressure
They're good for heartburn if you have trouble with digestion (some people do) one banana sprinkle a little pepper on it.

Does this diet work
I have no idea if this diet works. It sure looks like you get plenty to eat, maybe more than you need. I just thought I would put it on and let everyone see what it's all about. Like I said I love bananas I can do this I know. Leaving out the sugar would be my problem.
I have tried many diets. I'm in Weight Watchers now. I starve on Weight Watchers it's just not enough food. I know it has worked for many people. I plan on staying with it because it helps me by going to the meetings and the weigh in. Weight Watchers has now changed to eating fruit, without using points. When they first came out with all the fruit you want to eat and no points, our leader said she ate bananas all day and, of course, she gained weight. I can’t remember how many she said she ate, but it was a big amount.
Remember if you eat too many bananas you are going to gain weight. They also say eat whatever you want for lunch and dinner. I wouldn't eat a dozen hamburgers or French fries, eat good healthy food such as lean meat, vegetables, nuts, fish, beans, other fruits and oatmeal. Just examples of some of the foods you should eat.
I'm not a doctor so don't take my word. Please check with your own doctor before starting a diet.
I'm only listing the diet for you I'm not an expert on this diet. You may have to adjust this diet for yourself and to make sure your not taking into many calories. We all know in the long run calories count and if you go overboard with calories you will gain.
Adding exercise is always a good idea if you can. The diet is not unhealthy bananas aren't going to hurt you. Bananas are one of the cheapest things you can buy.
This diet is a fad diet but if it works for you and gets the weight off and gives you a start why not try it. It's safe and healthy. It will help you eat breakfast something I find myself not doing when I should but if I do I go for a banana.
Many diets are fad diets remember the cabbage diet. I couldn't take that one. I even tried the Subway diet, two days and I couldn't stand to look at another sandwich.

If you check out my hub to the right you will see my story on the heart attacks I had when I was 38. This is my main reason for trying to keep my weight down. Health is always a good reason I think. Dieting is not always easy to do but something I guess most of us have to do at times.

The diet I have on here is a little different than WebMD but pretty close to the same.
I saw this diet on YouTube CBS and they are saying as many bananas as you want this is not ture about this diet. Only two bananas in the morning.
