Large waist not only ruin the appearance. The large-waisted women, were also more susceptible to asthma. A study in California trying to reveal the link between obesity and asthma. The study involving 88,000 female respondents. Of these, 37 percent of them have asthma because they have a waist size above normal, whereas they aren't overweight.

The study found that large-waisted women more susceptible to asthma. Still according to the study, fat around the abdominal area was important in improving the risk of asthma. Waist size can be an indicator of whether she's overweight.

Large waist is usually associated with the obesity, but not all women who have large waist also considered obese. There are standard sizes. Researchers also said that women whose waist size over 88 cm or about 34 inches was the risk of developing asthma.

Soggy areas around the stomach very easily happen accumulation of fat. Accumulation of fat in this area are also often linked as a trigger for diabetes and heart attacks.

The fact that the accumulation of fat around the waist circumference could be issued cytolines, hormones and metabolically active substances that can contribute to the development of various chronic diseases, like heart disease and cancer.

Although risks of asthma is known greater for those who are obese, but other facts found in this study is a large waist size women (although not obese) are more susceptible to asthma.
