Is modern life making you sick?

Updated on December 3, 2010

Life makes me sick!

Chemicals change our mood, and drugs change the way our body uses the chemicals in our own little chemical factory, causing it to release more or less brain chemicals.

No prize for seeing that our species is a basket case, with our vengeful unhappy world leaders, it is clear we are lacking some very basic brain functioning! They are not enjoying optimal brain function or anywhere near it either.

To function properly the brain needs the right chemical balance as does the rest of our bodies.

Drugs like MMDA have a profound effect on mood because they change access to serotonin.

Drugs that effect the uptake of Dopamine and serotonin affect changes to mood, awareness, empathy and feeling.

Pressure to succeed can make you sick. The pressure of time, family, money and social status is causing illness, and as times get tougher, these pressures increase for all of us.

Doctors are discovering that modern life is so stressful it is causing people to become depressed or overwhelmed by life or both.

Apparently this is because we are all sick in the head!

It seems this is due to serotonin and dopamine not being taken up by our brains properly. Our brains are not getting access to enough of the right chemicals, so we are unhappy or grumpy.

Our brain chemicals are out of whack.

Have a look at the mass of free information on hedweb, and see if you agree with the views of professor Steven Hawking and other great minds and their proposed solutions.

Stress relief will be a lot more advanced in the future, involving more sophisticated drugs than we have now.

Initially some of these new drugs will be similar to the empathogens such as ecstasy.

'Ecstasy" got it' s nickname from the effect it has on the mood of the individual when it releases serotonin in to the brain. To a brain low on serotonin this is indeed an ecstatic experience.!

Anyone considering taking "E" does need to know a lot of technical stuff to keep any level of safety as our chemical factory does not like being told what to do and fights back, sometimes very severely.

Apart from the potential side effect there is a consequential down mood or 48 hour syndrome, At this point in time there is less serotonin than before the 'E" was taken and it will take time to get back to the already low levels previously available before taking the ecstasy.

No fun apparently and there are a lot more consequences if combined with alcohol or other drugs, as interaction is very unpredictable in individual cases.

Unlike the newer party drugs that some still call "E" which are in truth a mixture of all sorts of chemicals to lift mood like "E" but with speed added to the mix.

Real E does not last long at all.

Many new party drugs sold as E are nothing like ecstasy at all and certainly dangerous, as the contents are any crap that is cheap to make and fillers of all types, even laundry detergent, sulphuric acid, .

Ecstasy has a half life of only 90 minutes so it has been out of fashion as a rave drug for ages as it means being tired and going home at 10pm.

E does cause humans to feel better...... for a while.

So do many other substances and life events.

But not like E. If it were legal I would take it to experience it.

The difference in feeling makes this the ultimate empathetic, and so violence under the influence of ecstasy alone is not believable to anyone who has used it or observed users, which I have. The affect of serotonin on the brain is stunningly clear minded happiness and very empathetic feelings.

The drug is not controlling it just reveals a truth. You can be relaxed about yourself and others.

The information available about drugs on the Internet is often based on fear and ignorance which I believe favors chemical companies.

No big surprise there. They lobby with real money and influence to protect their products which have cost millions and taken years to develop, tested for more years before being sold.

Accurate Prescription and recreational drug data is available from hedweb presented with various double blind studies and tests from renown medical universities.

I hear an old hippy shout "Put E in the water supplies and everyone will chill man"

The brain does not like "E" any more than the body does.

The human brain does not like "E" any more than it likes anything else that might lead to happiness and the warm glow we need to feel towards the human race and all the universe we seem to be a part of.

24 to 48 hours later you can be right down the other end of the scale not happy at all and feeling hungover after taking the drug.

This chemical kickback happens with most drugs and prescription medicine as well.

Professor Steven Hawking, (who is on the radio as I write telling us the latest on particle acceleration) and many other great minds claim that we have selfish DNA that block or interfere with our well being. Also referred to as dirty DNA the very core of ourselves is knocking us off!

Even the stuff that makes us die and age has been found by an Australian couple who are both Scientists. It took them nine years and they had a baby while doing their research and experiments.

Have a look at the hedonistic imperative to find great stuff .on this subject.

Serotonin levels can make a mess of our belief systems too.

For example take one angry defensive racist, add serotonin, suddenly a different set of tolerant beliefs emerge.

So much for his supposed set-in-concrete thoughts and beliefs.

This brings me to the newest retort.

"I dare you to say that with serotonin"
