Life transitioning moments

Updated on August 30, 2013

Life's transitions

We all have life transitioning moments or A Ha moments. They come randomly throughout our lives. They seemingly show up at just the right time, almost serendipitously. As I am going through a major transformation now in my life these A Ha moments seem to be showing up more often than not. I am starting to appreciate things much more instead of taking things for granted. I seem to be more aware of the good things in my life rather than all the bad. I am focusing more on being in the moment instead of fast forwarding my future.

I am pleasantly happy in small increments and grateful for the genuine friendships that I have created. I am so very grateful for all my earth angels(my best friends and close family) . They constantly surprise me in wondrous ways. I don't know where I'd be in life without them. They are most always a shoulder to cry on and someone to laugh out loud with on subjects only we know about and loving us no matter what stupid things we end up doing and so much more.

Do we draw into our experience these life changing events or do they just come to us by happenstance or chance? I think almost always transitions in life are meant to propel us forward to our next level of experience and that we wouldn't be propelled to that next level if we were not ready to experience it. However it seems that sometimes we are going towards a perpetual cliff hurling off the edge into the unknown wondering what the next moment will bring. On some level though inside our being we know that whatever is next is meant to be or we wouldn't be going in that direction right?

Well that is the question, do we trust our innate sensibilities enough to let go of all fear and get into a place of trusting and having true faith in our life and know that only good can come of any situation we find ourselves in. Even the most seemingly devastating ones? I think the answer is Yes a resounding Yes!!! We must have faith in who we are and where we are going in this life and anytime that distrust comes through our thoughts ask the question why? I remember a quote from FDR : "The only thing to fear is FEAR itself."

If you break down the word FEAR, you get :

So basically fear is only something in which we give life to. So if we don't give any energy or emotion to it, it simply doesn't exist. Isn't that great. So we need only to focus our attention on the things that we want to occur in our lives rather than interject fear before there is anything to be afraid of.

So we need to stop injecting fear into the unknowns in our lives and have trust that everything will work itself out no matter what and whatever situations appear we'll have the tools emotionally mentally and physically to deal with them. Change is always a challenge but in the end life is all about perpetual change, going with the flow. Just like in the old song "row ,row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily merrily ,merrily life is but a dream. We need to go with the flow not against it and our boat , our life, will always right itself. If we go against the flow that is when disaster happens, accidents.... injuries...disease...cancer....etc. So when we stay in our right positive frame of mind and go with the flow not against it we will have smoother path to life's transitions ahead.

Here is to all of you and your lives. Always hoping that your boat stays floating on this stream through all the myriad of life's journey of turmoil's, transitions and joys. May the transitions be resistance free so you can go with the flow and have only smooth sailing ahead.

      Hi Moneyfairy,

I like the pictures. This was a really refreshing hub, something positive to start my day, I appreciate that. I agree friends are like angels, very precious. I also agree that working on getting rid of fear is very important, I am trying to get better at that every day. Changes can be frustrating at times but keeping a positive mind frame usually helps.

      Best wishes
