Like millions of women around the globe, I am very sensitive about my weight. It’s true that many find dieting as the best solution for weight problems. However, don’t you know that dieting is not enough? This is true especially if you aim to lose weight permanently. In fact, statistics show that people who gained perfect figure through dieting end up going back to square one after a few years. Such news is heartbreaking as many of us today spend hundreds of dollars just to avail infamous diet programs which promise drastic and exciting results. Nonetheless, the most alarming fact is that abusive dieting could threaten our body’s overall function. It may even slow down our metabolism which eventually encourages weight gain.

I know you are in a hurry to achieve your dream weight but there are necessary steps that must be considered before jumping into a certain weight loss method. Don’t you know that some illnesses such as diabetes can cause weight gain? Visit a physician and let him check on your overall health. Doing so will help you come up with a much reasonable weight loss approach. Most people who want to lose weight decide to eat nothing at all or deprive themselves from eating foods they love. Fiber is known to offer numerous health benefits and one of them is weight loss. Both men and women should intake adequate amounts of fiber everyday which is 40 grams and 25 grams respectively. A few good sources of fiber are fruits, oatmeal, vegetables, and whole grains. By simply increasing your daily fiber intake, you could greatly boost your digestive system’s function and speed-up weight loss.


Spice up your Meals!

Forget about using butter and cheese on your meals. Instead, go for spices such as turmeric, cilantro, cayenne pepper, parsley and the infamous garlic. Many studies have been made which can support the claim that hot spices can improve metabolism and make losing weight a lot easier.

Your body should have adequate rest so the digestive system can do its job well. Following a stressful lifestyle will make it hard for you to lose weight. Leptin is produced during sleep which is a hormone that helps you easily achieve satisfaction after eating. A decrease of Leptin in your system could intensify your cravings thus encouraging you to eat more. It’s not easy to deal with stress yet all your efforts to do so are definitely worthwhile.
