Living long and good

Updated on May 18, 2011

Living long and good

Safe and powerful herbs enables one to live a longer and better life. Ganoderma Lucidum is one of these herbs. Ganoderma Lucidum is a species of mushroom, actually, that Chinese healers, Japanese healers, and others who respect and treasure Oriental approaches to medicine have honored for thousands of years. I only came to appreciate the power of this "life giving and healing" mushroom after living in Japan for 4 years adn becoming more in tune with sources of life extending "living foods" in Nature. The Japanese people that I lived with, at the foot of Mt. Fuji, actually on the slope of the mountain, above Gotemba, Japan, were masters of Nature, and managed to teach me a lot about Nature healing methodologies, even though I was at a disadvantage having to learn their culture, while at the same time, learning their healing approaches. One can not understand Japanese healing methods with an understanding of Japanese culture.

Getting back to the "red reishi," as it is known in Japan, or Ganoderma Lucidum, as we "scientific types" call it, this mushroom is very important for your health maintenance program, if you have one, or value one. Those who approach me for information for, an organic source of the mushroom, get referred to one of the most reliable sources of Ganoderma Lucidum that I know of, that carry the products and package it is attractive, safe packets. I do not have the time or experience to procure and provide products of this nature to people myself. I simply make recomendations on safe sources of herbs.

There was a research report released that I read yesterday about coffee as an aid in decreasing one's risk for prostate cancer, a study that was done by Harvard researchers. Coffee is an herb by the way. They say that drinking coffee can cut a man's risk for prostate cancer by 60%. Men who want to help themselves in this regards should start drinking coffee when they are young. Don't wait until you are in your 50's (though it is never too late to start helping yourself) to get on board and start applying a new idea to help yourself. Actually, drinking coffee is not a new idea and it has been known to help, both women and men, to stay healthy. I mention coffee here because there are ready sources of coffee and Ganoderma Lucidum mixed, (products that are already made up, in instant packs, that one can use to make one cup at a time). Also, there is a source of green tea and Ganoderma Lucidum, already mixed up and ready for you to prepare, for an instant drink. I mention the green tea drink because some people cannot drink coffee, it is hard on their stomach.

I use these products for my own health because they help protect me from many diseases. The Ganoderma Lucidum products taste good and they help me to feel good. It does not matter if one is a male or a female, the Ganoderma Lucidum, green tea, and coffee are great for your health, especially if you obtain them from the best sources and use them faithfully.

At this point, I am not going to say anymore about Ganoderma Lucidum. If there are those of you who want to know more, ask me. Write me. Get to be a follower of mine in order to get to know me better and to learn how I think. Ask questions of me. Help me to help you. As you go, Peace.
