Low Level Laser Therapy & Chiropractic Effective Pain Relief

Updated on April 6, 2015

Study Reveals More Favorable Results

A 2011 study reported in J Manipulative Physiol Ther. 2011 Mar-Apr;34(3):153-63. doi: 10.1016/j.jmpt.2011.02.010, shows that a combination of Low Level Laser Therapy and chiropractic manipulation produced more favorable results in a controlled study.

Three groups of women with cervical facet pain participated. One group received spinal manipulation only, another received laser therapy only , while a third had both therapies at the same time.

All 3 groups showed improvement in the primary and secondary outcomes. A combination of CMT and LLLT was more effective than either of the 2 on their own.

Make an informed decision how to treat neck pain

Photobiomodulation ? Yes it is a word

This refers to Laser Light Stimulation and what it does is cause photochemical reactions of certain wavelengths of light with our cell membranes, cellular organelles and enzymes. This process will stimulate healing while reducing pain.

Inflammation is reduced and healing is speeded up. Oddly enough damaged tissue responds better to photobiomodulation.

Chiropractic but my doctor says.......

Slowly the medical profession is starting to recognize the chiropractic profession. If they could have they would have put chiropractors out of business long ago. Here is how I know.

My well intentioned medical doctor told me that I should become a garbage man instead of becoming a chiropractor. He further added that the medical profession was going to put them put of business. This really did happen to me over 35 years ago.

Subsequently, the A.M.A. was sued on anti-trust grounds on those same principles in 1987.

It is about helping people not politics.

Your Body Your Right to Choose

Much advice you receive today is from television or the internet. The information you receive from television is paid by sponsors who want you to use their products.Naturally they are biased.

Organic or free search on the web is a less biased way to gain information that helps you make informed decisions. I encourage you to use organic search for guidance in making health care decisions.

Laser and Spinal Manipulation Stop Pain Faster

The chiropractic spinal manipulation removes nerve interference allowing the brain to communicate with the desired body part. Pain is reduced as normal nerve transmission is restored between the two.

Low Level Laser Light therapy stimulates healing by boosting the cells ability to heal using light. This is very similar to how photosynthesis works on plant growth.

Together they work better. The studies show this.
