Managing stress can be done in 4 methods namely ;

  2. psychological management method

  4. behavioral management methods

Physical management methods
This includes exercise, sports, massage,leisure and last but not least the food we eat. Studies have shown that fresh fruits and tea specially green tea can reduce stress levels in a person. But if you are a great coffee lover this will be disappointing because coffee increases stress ! so switch to tea: its healthier.

Psychological management methods

  • Relaxation therapy
  • Meditation
  • engaging in hobbies like taking care of pets and spending more time with nature this is also known as nature therapy
  • Sharing your problems with another friend or a family member is another great way to relieve stress

Cognitive methods of managing stress

  • Time management techniques
  • problem solving techniques
  • visualization methods

Behavioral methods of managing stress

  • Reading books
  • Listening to music and singing
  • watching movies
  • engaging in daily activities
