Fast food is not usually a dieter's best friend. But sometimes when life gets hectic it is nice to take the easy option and grab some McDonald's when your belly starts grumbling. Here is a list of meals you can enjoy at McDonald's for less than 500 calories. Please note that just because a food is low in calories, it does not automatically mean it is "healthy". Consult your doctor before starting any diet, and discuss your daily needs for vitamins, soduim, sugar and protein with him or her.

Breakfast

The meal ideas above are all just ideas. You can also pick your favoirte breakfast meal from McDonald's and then figure out ways to cut calories from the meal you already enjoy eating. For example, ordering your breakfast sandwich without cheese can save you around 50 calories. Ordering water to drink instead of a soda can save you around 150 calories and 40 grams of sugar! You just have to learn to make smarter choices if you are looking to lower your calorie intake while enjoying a tastey McDonald's breakfast.

      Voted up and useful for the McD fans out there. I personally only ever do a McD breakfast when I have a bad hangover, they combination of fast food and home delivery is great! lol (not sure if they deliver in the US).

      Pretty good hub. I do enjoy McDonalds, but don't eat it as often as I once did. I'm glad to see something in their menu with less than 500 calories.

      Brett, I had no idea that McDonald's delivered anywhere. I don't know of anywhere here in the US that has delivering McDonald's but if anyone knows of any please let me know because it would be interesting to see haha
