Meditate to your Good Health
Stress is considered evil ‘cause it is the number one cause of all the diseases and problems existing in our lives. We, humans stress a lot. We stress on teeny-weeny stuff that exists around us.
What is the outcome?
The outcome of stress is that it puts a lot of pressure on our pituitary gland, which is the “Master Gland.” This Gland is responsible for the production of hormones, which regulate all organs and the growth of our body. Stress can mal-function the regulator button of our body; the pituitary gland and that can create havoc in our biological cycle.
How can we regulate our stress?
Stress is caused by our thoughts. What we think, is the outcome of what we believe and that belief can make us act upon. This action can be injurious to our health especially when it’s a negative deed. This deed can in turn regulate our hormones. If the deed is negative the hormones play havoc in the body but if the deed is a positive one, the hormones tend to play music to one’s body.
What about joy? What impact does joy has on our body?
Joy is like music to the ears. When a person is happy, he aspires to dream big and that gives a kick to his mental being, which affects his immunity level and he can defend his body from various bugs. Happiness is good for the mind and the body. No wonder, there are laughter camps, where adults are forced to laugh.
How can we control our thoughts and always be happy?
The Mantra for liberation is to be aware of our thoughts.
Awareness of our thoughts can liberate us from the pothole of sorrows.
This can be achieved if we devote some time to our mind. Give a few minutes each day to talk to your mind and listen to it.
How can that happen?
- •Detach from the environment
- •Keep your cell phone or computer or any kind of distraction away from you. At least 5 feet away from you!
- •Sit comfortably
- •Close your eyes
- •Listen to your mind
- •It will wander
- •Let it wander. After a few minutes you will observe the mind has nowhere to go except be with you at the moment.
- •Enjoy this moment
- •Be in it. There are moments when a person falls asleep. It’s okay to do so.
- •When you open your eyes. You will be so fresh. It will be as if you slept for a good 6-8 hours.
- •That is the wonder of awareness.
This kind of activity if done on a daily basis will make you aware of your thoughts at all times. Whenever you feel or see anything that is against your wishes, you will start to talk within your self (This sure sounds crazy!) but this therapy makes you ponder over your stress and you will come up with the solution. (I guarantee it!)
How can that happen?
Humans are intelligent souls with loads of energy in them. It’s just that we are not aware of it and do not ponder within ourselves to dig and bring it out.
