Mom, do you have a phone in Heaven?
I had this overwhelming feeling to call you on the phone today.
If Heaven had a phone, this is what I would say.
ring, ring, ring....
MOM: Hello Sweetheart, how are my little sweeties doing? Are you all feeling better?
ME: We are doing better mom, how are you?
MOM: I feel great! It must be the carrot juice in Heaven. I have never had more energy, and I am in perfect health and finally I am the perfect weight!
ME: I am so glad. I am happy you are well and feeling great. It must be glorious in Heaven.
MOM: Oh Tami, you have no idea! The Lord is so good to me. He is everywhere I go. He said we will all be together soon, but for now, I am watching Him prepare a place for all of you. The mansion has so many rooms. It is fabulous. Even better than those beautiful celebrity houses. Wait until you see the gold walls and floors.
ME: We miss you mom. I can't wait to see you again... and all of the wonderful things you are experiencing.
MOM: How is daddy? Is he ok? You know I worried most about how he would do without me. The Lord reassured me that day I left that He would make sure all of our kids took good care of him. Is he ok?
ME: He is mom; he just misses you so much. We all do.
MOM: Tell him I will see him very soon, and that Heaven is even better than we ever imagined. Tell him I saw Tabbi and Riley, Jasper, Puffy and even Nikki. All of his dogs are waiting for him here. They recognized me as soon as I came home. They have this giant backyard where they all play together.
ME: This is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through mom. It is so hard not having you with us.
MOM: Oh sweetie, don't cry. You have no idea how close I really am. Keep doing what the Lord needs of you each day, hug those little sweethearts for me. They are going to be so excited to see Heaven... and Tami, all of our precious babies that were taken from our family too early, I get to see them all the time. They knew I was their nana, they came right to me.
ME: That is wonderful mom, truly wonderful. I can't even imagine.
MOM: You can't imagine, it is beyond my description...the Lord has everything just perfect. I spend time singing with my mama and daddy, and Bub, she dances with the babies when I play the huge organ with pipes just like at St Mary's, but bigger, and the keys and pipes are pearls and gold. We sing and dance with the Lord constantly, and never get tired. I don’t hurt at all any more.
ME: Beautiful mom, I love you so much, I love you so very much and miss you even more.
MOM: I am doing wonderfully, and I miss all of you too, but in Heaven there is no pain or suffering, so I don't miss you with sadness, I miss you with joy and anticipation, knowing that we will be together sooner than you think. Do what the Lord has for you each day sweetie, you'll see, in the blink of an eye, we will all be together again.
ME: OK, but mom, how did you know it was me calling?
MOM: God said you needed to talk. Give everyone a hug for me. Tell them to get right with God, serve Him with all of their heart. He is coming soon and we will all be together.
ME: I will mom, I love you.
MOM: Oh, I love you too sweetie, tell everyone and hug everyone. See you soon!
