Jaundice is the yellowish staining of the skin and sclerae

When you have Jaundice, yellow discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes occurs due to an increase in the bile pigments,known as bilirubin in the blood. In many cases, yellowness in the eyeballs is more seen than in the skin of the jaundice patient.

Jaundice Symptoms

1. Extreme weakness in the body
2. Get headache and fever
3. Loss of appetite (do not wish to eat anything at all)
4. Severe constipation
5. Nausea
6. Yellow discoloration of the eyes balls, tongue, skin, and even urine
7. Get dull pain in the liver region just below the ribs

why jaundice happens?

Due to the obstruction of the bile ducts jaundice happens
Haemolytic anaemia
It happens when certain diseases affect the liver such as typhoid, malaria, yellow fever, and tuberculosis

Home Remedies for Jaundice

The fresh green leaves of radish to be pounded and their juice extracted in a muslin cloth. a glass full of this juice should he taken daily by elderly patient. It induces a healthy appetite and proper evacuation of bowels and make a patient feel light, and gradually results in decrease of the troublesome disease. generally complete cure is ensured within 8 or 10 days.
Drink a glass full of fresh tomato juice, mixed with a pinch of salt and black pepper powder early in the morning.
Soak eight kernels of almonds, two dried dates, and five small cardamoms overnight in the water.remove the outer cover of the almond and also remove the seeds of dried dates next
morning make a fine paste of the three . Then add fifty grams of sugar and an equal amount of butter and mix well then let the patient lick this mixture.
Drink one glass of fresh sugarcane juice,squeeze half a lime into it and drink twice a day. It is very effective treatment for jaundice ,just check it is hygienically fit to drink ,else chew the sugarcane it is equally good .Drink 20 ml of lemon juice mixed with water several times a day. This will protect the damaged liver may add glucose to it .Boil one cup of barley in three liters of water and simmer it for 3 hours. Drink several times a day. It has cooling effect and help to repair the liver .pound the fresh leaves of ahar dal(lentils)and squeeze the juice and drink it everyday in the morning .it is the best remedy for jaundice keep your liver cool and you will always protect your self from jaundice .
