Great Moments

  • New Discoveries:

I have been busy with work daily, and enjoy the daily activity it makes me feel energetic and free.

My positive thoughts get me going each day.

The positive thoughts show more about my strengths and about life.

I don't look at my life as others do. Each person sees my life in a different way as I see their lives in a peculiar way.

I feel great and have so far had fun and have experienced something new from my summer job.

I have observed certain individuals and have come up with my own opinions of these individuals.

  • For example:

A woman whom I have daily simple brief conversations with has a very weird behavior. I find her to be so different from others who have I have met in the past.

I understand she has been held back from her life in some ways.

One morning while talking to her she continued to walk away from me like she was in some sort of restriction moment.

I felt that was her inappropriate behavior. Sometimes she won't even speak to me and on other times she can be mostly friendly.

Her odd behavior sometimes gets me confused.

Another individual had tried to come to visit us a few times as the uninvited guest.

I don't understand certain people's behaviors.

I try to ignore the way they behave but fail to get through their minds.

He did not get the benefit of coming to us uninvited someone who has time to make his short visits the extra long visits at other people's homes.

I prefer to keep my distance from those types of people.

It is my way of still keeping a friendship but with safe distance.

While outdoors for most of the day I have had the time to see many interesting adventures and surprises.

A few days ago I saw a black squirrel up on the oak tree that we have at the entrance of our yard it was a great moment for me.

The rodent had a white patch under its belly and looked a very busy body.

The squirrel climbed up a Cypress tree and continued to climb from one tree to the next. I did not want to disturb its peace I just watched it go by.

I could not capture these moments on camera as I was afraid to scare the poor little creature away. I let it be.

My special moments are always treasured.

It is amazing what one can observe when outdoors.

One morning while serving customer refreshment I watched as a sparrow picked at an insect on the street. A great way to observe nature's little treats.

A few minutes later another sparrow caught an insect right in mid-air and that was another moment that I may never see again.

  • How often do you observe such moments?

It is rare that you would see such incidents.

Another rare sight for me was when I spotted a ground wasp carrying along a worm slightly bigger than the wasp itself.

I watched as the wasp carried the worm along to a safe place. It cleared the path in a tiny opening to fit in the worm into that space.

I was amazed by the whole procedure.

I have had the time to see how bumble bees have tried to make their homes in oak chopped blocks. The oak wood is much softer than the pine wood to make their homes in.

I have enjoyed my new findings and will always remember all experiences.

  • My discoveries have taught me lots over time.

I live to learn and have learned to live. I hope to continue learning each day.

Life is not always what you make of it no matter how hard you try something often brings you down.

The little experiences that I have had gave me no chance of a photo. I did not want to miss those precious moments. Instead, I watched and learned of such unique behaviors.

My surroundings have shown me many lively moments.

The early start to a new day helps me to get on easily and more actively.

The wonders of nature often opened my eyes to a new life and more.

I have noticed butterflies in the garden and with the many flowers I have the butterflies are continuously attracted to such beauty.

My days are occupied with lovely weather and in this way I achieve more easily.

Life for me is going well with lots of hard work.

The harder I work the greater my achievements.

I reach my goals with my improved thoughts.

I try to look at my life as a new beginning it gives me more of an opportunity to move on.

I prefer not to complain about the weather or about what did not get to my way. If I complained about everything that goes on daily I will certainly be unhappy and feel most depressed.

I am keen on meeting and talking to different people and so far have met many people. General conversations make me feel happy.

The uninvited guest and the odd behavior of the woman have taught me to keep my distance.

I don't want to fall hard with the people I believe have less of a life or are insecure about their lives.

In a small community with everybody knowing each other it is difficult to avoid such behaviors or such people.

I don't mind the simple ''hello,'' or the simple goodbye.'' It is just about how certain people treat each other and look at each other. Just as I do look at others they do so at me in their own special kind of way.

Some people prefer to be on their own and communicate the least with others. I also feel the same.

How people think about others and of how others often like to look for gossip is another issue in a small community.

I don't ignore people instead I enjoy learning more about these individuals.

My life in Croatia is turning around beautifully my simple events make me most happy.

The unforgettable will remain within my emotions.

Some people like to talk and some people like to be silent. I like to hear what others have to say and be heard for my own good adventures.

Some of you like to be on your own and experience the outdoor life. I like to be with someone to share my great moments.

I like to blurt out to someone to know what I have seen that was unusual or of what I have not yet seen.

My close encounters with garden snakes have also stirred up my feelings about outdoor life.

Dragon fly close to me and I appreciate the beauty of life concerning the unusual creatures.

I have recently seen fireflies and was thrilled to see these insects at night. It was all lit up and looking a good night attraction.

The seasons have changed and the many rainy days have held me back from moving on to better days with my business. Rushing around is not the way I choose to deal with my daily chores.

I hope my daily activities can keep me busy for while.

Focus is the truth of my life.

Don't ignore who you trust in your life. The best people you can share your life with are family and the most loved ones.

Only you can let your feelings run free and wild.

Live life and don't show off what you have rather enjoy your possession. The real meaning of life comes from the simplest of ways in living.

  • Have you focused on your life before a great success?

I have tried and still trying to be strong and positive in another life.

There are certainly some weird behaviours out there! I know someone who doesn't acknowledge anything you say, so it is really disconcerting talking to them because you don't know if they heard you. Voted interesting!

      Hi Devika,

Three things spring to mind about you and your outlook on life,One you are positive in your outlook, two, you can weigh people up quite quickly, and are not prepared to humor people who are a bad influence, for the sake of it, and three, you can see, here and appreciate Nature and her gifts.Great read,Voted up,beautiful, interesting and useful.

Nature shows us many ways that we can in fact live in harmony and enjoy what we can, when it's offered. Reflective article that was an interesting read.

FlourishAnyway that is dangerous and you really got to be watchful over such surroundings. I have noticed a snake yesterday and watched it all the way go to another spot away from me. It was a garden snake not a venomous type. The squirrel is unusual and so interesting to observe nature. Thank you very much for stopping by

That black squirrel is unusual. I enjoy walking in nature and am always on the lookout for neat things. Because of an intense fear of snakes, I can pick one out of a camouflaged background very quickly. Just the other day we happened upon a copperhead.

That about sums it all up. All others who encroach on our way of life can go elsewhere.
