It is this stuff that propels you into action when you are faced with a sudden, unexpected emotional or physical challenge. It is so powerful that adrenaline-fueled people have been know to rip the doors off overturned cars. There is a story I heard a long time ago about a mother who weighed about 110 pounds. He son was under his car working on it. He had the back tire off so the car was up the jack. She saw the jack slip and the car fall on her son’s chest. She grabbed the bumper of the car and to everyone’s amazement she lifted the car off her son. Another by-stander pulled her son to safety.
