Natural tips for teeth whitening

Having sparkling smile is common dream of everyone. It is a sign of health and confidence. You can have white teeth without wasting much money on expensive whitening treatments.There are some reasons, that play a significant part for their overall state, including genetics, quality of food, drink, and practice of oral hygiene. If you wish to get rid of yellow tinge on your teeth, you can try some natural remedies, which are very beneficial for teeth and can restore its white enamel.


Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide

Baking soda is one of the best remedies for getting rid of yellow teeth. It helps remove plaque and whiten your teeth.

As a natural teeth whitener, it is really great. Mix a small amount of hydrogen peroxide with a baking soda to make a paste. Hydrogen peroxide is an anti-bacterial agent and works as a great cleaner.

But don`t be excessive in usage, or it will take the enamel right off your teeth.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is great as a teeth whitener. It has powerful antimicrobial properties, so it’s great for your gums as well. It won’t make an effect of “bleaching”, but coconut oil acid can rid your teeth of bacteria. It promotes gum health, and keeps your breath fresh.

Just put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth.

Swish it between your teeth for 5 to 20 minutes and rinse it with warm water.


Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar perfectly removes stains on the teeth, especially from coffee. It works great, but you have to be consistent. Be careful with all acids, as they can remove the enamel on your teeth. After application of ACV, you will need to brush teeth with regular toothpaste, or rinse your mouth very well.

Lemon or Orange Peels

These fruits are very healthy for your stomach, but the acid might damage the enamel. Rub the white peel all over your teeth and let the juice penetrate inside your teeth for several minutes. Orange peel contains calcium and Vitamin C, which is very effective for whitening purposes. Cleaning your teeth with fresh orange peel will reduce the yellow tinge.



Strawberries

Strawberries are rich in Vitamin C, which can help break down plaque. It contains an enzyme malic acid, which may help to remove surface stains. Strawberries can brighten up your smile as well. Take two strawberries, mash them and apply them to your teeth for 5 minutes. After that, rinse off with water.



Activated charcoal

Activated charcoal pulls toxins from the mouth and removes stains.

It prevents cavities and fighting bacteria, absorbs chemicals and draws stains off teeth.

Dip a toothbrush into the powered charcoal and brush your teeth thoroughly.

After some weeks the results would be very noticeable.


Banana peel

Banana has many essential minerals like potassium, manganese and magnesium, that penetrate into the teeth and help to whiten them.

Rub your teeth with white inside of the peel of the ripe banana and let the juice sit on your teeth for 15 minutes. After that, brush your teeth with normal toothpaste.

Don't use this procedure too often, because the acids from banana could damage your enamel.


Crunchy carrots and apples

Raw carrots are very beneficial for teeth care and are also known as perfect natural cleaner. So every time you eat that carrot, you are getting whiter teeth along with healthy gums.

Apples help to increase saliva and to maintain a fresh and clean breath. Eat one apple a day, which fibers would help in removing the stains.

Salt

Salt is available home remedy and one of the best cleansing agent for teeth whitening. It replenishes lost minerals and helps revive their white color.

You can use salt each morning, as a tooth powder instead of toothpaste.

But be careful with salt and don`t use it too much, as it can damage your gums and tooth enamel, if used roughly.

Neem twigs

Margosa(neem) twigs can be used as a toothbrush. Chew neem branches for removing yellow stains and preventing teeth problems. It helps to maintain proper health of teeth. thanks to its antiseptic and curing properties, which fight against cavities and bad breath.


Cheese

Cheese is used as teeth whitening remedy. A piece of cheese after meal promotes teeth re-mineralization and prevents its decay.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is one of the most effective teeth whitening solution. It fights against bacteria and acts against cavities and root canals. Just mix aloe vera with vegetable glycerine to form a paste and use the paste for cleaning the teeth.

Turmeric

Turmeric is also great teeth whitening remedy. Crush some turmeric into powder, add some salt, lime juice and use the mixture for whitening the teeth.Do it 3 times a week and wait for great results soon.
