Now Foods Chlorella Review

Updated on April 18, 2011

I do not consider myself an an expert in the area of health supplements. However, recently my wife had been referred to a great organic product - Now Foods Chlorella Green Superfood. It was a great recommendation from a close friend of hers and we wanted to share our experiences about the beneficial effects of this supplement.

We can only say that our immune system was really looking forward to receiving the incredible surge of energy Now Chlorella provides. Before going into details about the health benefits of this product, let me just emphasize the great price of it at Amazon.com. When we did our first order we were amazed as to how affordable the price was, as compared, for example, to our local health food stores.

NOW Foods Chlorella 1000mg, 120 Tablets

We simply couldn't believe how affordable this great health product was.

Chlorella Health Benefits

Chlorella belongs to the class of green microalgae. It is known to contain some of the largest concentrations of chlorophyll known to man. This makes it a true fountain of youth rich in vitamin B, iron, amino acids, and beta carotene. In order to ease the digestion, the cellular walls of this single cell algae contained in this supplement have been mechanically broken.

In addition to boosting our immunity, we noticed a nice improvement of our digestion, skin and nails structure, and detoxifying effects. We take it alongside with Spirulina and we can now really tell a difference. It helps our whole system! It is only fair to say that we use other supplements as well such as germanium-132, resveratrol, and noni, but we are convinced that Chlorella has a great deal in the overall results.

For us, Now Chlorella was an answer to the questions as to "how to better the immunity, gain more energy, and improve the general health of our body". It provides us a lot of vitamins and nutrients, and we believe we were probably meant to take it from the start. We have found out that people use this product also on pets, with the result of improving their health as well.

Concluding remarks

We hope this review was helpful to you in pointing out some details about the health benefits of Now Foods Chlorella. All in all, it opened our eyes to the benefits of the so called green powders.

A word of caution at the end. Be careful especially at the beginning - the taste of this product could be a bit gross, and depending on the recommended dosage from your physician (yes, you should always consult them when it comes to trying new nutrients) it might cause some gastrointestinal discomfort.

What are your experiences with this and other natural health nutrients? Please feel free to comment bellow!
