Of Pain...

Updated on March 19, 2013

Pain, Pain, Pain.

Over here and over there, left and right.

In my heart, in my soul...

In my mind, in my thought.

Pain felt in my skin, in my bones,

Till the skin and bones rip...

The heart bleeds red,

And you break into tears.

Pain caused by anger and hate,

Of hurt and greed, sorrow and grief.

Confusion, depression and stress,

Sickness and diseases and death.

Pain at home, at work, at school,

Caused by family and friends,

Every hour, every minute, every second,

Over senseless argument.

Pain happening in my sleep,

In my bed, where I am all alone,

Caused by the one you love,

And the world so unkind.

Pain is driving me crazy,

Causing me to cry all night,

Asking why me...Oh why me?

You chose to put the Pain?

Pain in the silent of the night,

Sends a message of peace and quiet,

Knowing the Hand who holds the Light,

Promise to end the Pain today!

One day, this Pain will make sense,

It will change you forever,

It makes us human and strong,

Gorgeous is pain!

Thank you for the compliment rdsparrot. The marks humans leave are too often scars. Yet that doesn't change the fact that God is an healing God. No pain no glory in Christ.

      God bless you always.

I totally agreed with you MsDora. In fact numbing the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it, better to feel it now than ignoring it longer within you and make you feel miserable.

      Thank you for your comment.

All kinds of pain, but it helps to remember that in order to feel pain (1) you must be alive and (2) there's a healthy sensitivity where the pain is. Not denying the hurt of pain, but agreeing with you that "it makes us human strong."

Beautiful words. Mostly what we do with the time can bring us healing. Specially praying for protection and blessings for those who have hurt me, helped me to grow into the person who I am today in Christ who gives me strength in my weakness. God bless you!!

You are so right Lsacarr, and so I heard too, a lot of the pain we are dealing with are really only thoughts. Well, it gives us time to think to get over it in anyway we can...and that changed us somehow and don't just ignore one pain at all.
