Think Pain Away

Updated on May 13, 2016

Here Are The Tools Of The Trade

To conquer your pain begins in your mind. And plenty of practice.

Below is a bit of info about the mental tools required for the job of self healer

AWARENESS

Awareness:

When something is drawn to my attention, either by my own thoughts or from outside factors.

Awareness is not only automatic but is controlled and essential to direct our minds in the direction we chose.

CONCENTRATION

Concentration:

To clarify a single thought or a task, without disruption either from myself or from outside factors.

When we concentrate our awareness, we maintain our direction towards that given thing.

FOCUS OF ATTENTION

Focus of Attention:

To focus my entire concentration on just a thought or a task.

Attention span is something that should be exercised, but often neglected.

TOTAL RELAXATION

Total Relaxation:

To totally relax both my mind and body.

These exercises relax the mind, body, and soul.

Most Minds Are Filled With Distractions When They Should Be Doing Something Else.

The concept headlined, is the basis of this information which provides methods for anyone who practices and masters, to ease bodily aches and pains using mental diversion / distraction techniques, and some free, cosmic energy.

I won't bore you by babbling on about the (not so) mysteries of pain. Pain as you know is an indicator of danger. Your body's defence system telling you you need relief and to possibly visit a doctor.

Energy Blocker

The problem arrises when we focus on the pain.Subconsciously tension grips the painful area. That clenching alone will keep the mind attention right there. That thought process can even be ongoing, and will create a clenching of the tension within a specific point or area, causing more tension.

By doing so one blocks their innate natural flow of energy. Their body’s healing chemicals are thus not flowing throughout their system as normally should be, because of focusing on the pain of the tension.

Pain affects the mind bad. For some, it equals 'body over mind' instead of the other way around. And to have physical pain rule the mind is not a good thing.

The Mind Focuses Where The Pain Goes

When the mind becomes aware of pain or tension, attention automatically focuses there. The physical area causing the inflammation to become clenched; spasmodic, emotionally tensed upon. All of this of course is a natural human response. Emotionally, because of the discomfort, the mind is not aiding the healing physically, but even preventing natural healing to take place.

Anyone Can Learn Pain Easing Techniques Of The Mind

Try these techniques in the comfort of your own home (at last, I've always wanted to write that.) The concepts may be new to you and the process can be a little scary or nauseating for some when practicing.

1: Become relaxed & comfortable, preferably lying down is good and where you won’t be disturbed. Allow yourself a few minutes or however long you wish.

2: As you are lying there, become aware of other body parts and attempt to forget about painful areas.

Divert your attention from pain. Concentrate on one specific area of your body, your feet. Battle the concentration and master diversion by sending your focus to your feet, and disregard the pain trying to take control. Relax your feet until they are numb, even if it takes awhile, keep diverting your focus towards your feet, and settle there. After a while, continue relaxing slowly up your entire body all the way to the top of your head.

You lay totally relaxed, numb. Your mind focuses on nothing, and is blank, now is the time to practice more focusing of attention.

3: It is time to divert all your attention and focus only upon the pain which gives you such grief.

Intensely focus where the pain calls. Keep the rest of your body relaxed. Imagine the pain as a roaring red fire. Orange inflammation surrounds the area and causes you trouble. Start feeling this pain more intensely, but attempt to not allow it to bother you.

After a while and you have this aspect under control, that you are aware of the pain but it doesn't bother you, You have given your focus and attention span a good work out. Well done.

Now is the time to give our natural healing process a wake-up call.

Next, deeply inhale and imagine breathing in turquoise coloured energy, flood your entire body with calming, cool, turquoise energy.

Exhale all tension as dark matter dissipating out there, releasing and relieving your mind and body when it departs.

on the next breath, harness inside you turquoise energy. In your mind's eye, divert towards the pain. Allow the soothing healing blanket of turquoise to encompass areas of pain. This process may feel uncomfortable to some people. Concentrate on the calming turquoise energy dousing any red and orange barriers. Allow turquoise to flow throughout.

For some people this practice may be a scary sensation. Emotionally, deep buried issues are brought to the surface. And physically, feelings of nausea are associated as your body system kicks in and purges out toxins.

Of course no healing would be complete without drinking plenty of quality water. Cleanse the body and flush away the organic toxins of dark matter waste.

Ah yes-nice article on learning how to relax and ease pain. When I was working as a counselor, I use to make relaxation tapes for my client's. They loved it. I try to do this daily and especially at night when I am lying in bed. Great article my friend. Keep the self-help hubs a coming.
