The cause of diseases can be identified among these 4 factors: air and water pollution, smoking, pesticides, food additives and preservatives. I know these sources are already very familiar to us but allow to expound a little.
- Air and Water pollution
We cannot deny that air and water are essential to life. But we need clean air and clean water. Unfortunately, our air and water are already polluted. With the emergence of factories, more vehicles running along our roads, residential areas.... Imagine the chemicals revolving around the air and water, not to mention the garbage floating in our rivers and different waterforms. The question is can we avoid it? Try holding your breath for several minutes and see what happens. As for water, we focus our attention to drinking purified or bottled water. Yes, it is safe because it has been devoid of bacteria, so you will not get waterbourne diseases. But the PH level is so low, it increases acidity in the blood that is traced to be common to persons having diseases.
Well, everybody knows smoking is not good to anybody's health. If you smoke, you can develop lung and respiratory problems in the future. And if you're not smoking, you're not safe either because second hand smoking is even more dangerous, you get to inhale the smoke emitted by the smoker. Smoker or not, there is no way out.
- Pesticides and Chemicals
These come from chemicals sprayed on our fruits and vegetables, carpet cleaners or basically most household products. Most of these chemicals, we eat or smell everyday.
More people are already aware that eating meat is not advisable to every meal of every day. To people who know this, they divert to fruits and vegetables. Good for them. But do they know the sources? Were they not sprayed with chemicals while on the process of growing? Do we realize that when we go to the supermarket or do grocery, we usually look for the fresh ones, those without any spot or rotting parts? The most common food sources of proanthocyanidin are pine bark, grape seeds, and the skin of grapes. These flavonoids can also be found in other plants such as the bilberry, the cranberry, the black currant, as well as in green tea and black tea in significant amounts.

These enzymes break down substances into smaller building blocks for proper absorption of the nutrients required for our body's function. WATER AS SOURCE OF MINERALS
Another source of minerals is water. Water is widely accepted as one of the most important considerations when creating a healthy lifestyle. Water comprises between 50-70% of an adults's body (up to 90lbs in a 130lb adult) - and when water is taken out of our diet, our survival time is 2-3 days at best so we have to make sure we are always well hydrated.
Water with minerals are alkaline water, which have high pH (hydrogen ion concentration). These are good drinking water since it helps to neutralise acids and remove toxins from the body - it is a great cleanser and helps to detoxify our system.
Most people who do not know this are drinking purified water. Purified water, from the word itself, have been purified or freed from impurities like bacteria. However, on the process of purification, the minerals in the water were removed, making the water acidic. Acidic water have very low pH, and these are not good for people suffering from diseases. There are alkaline water available in the market. If you can't find one, there are also products like drops or tablets you can add to your water to make it alkaline. Sources of these drops are from the Great Salt Lake in Utah or from the Dead Sea, which are both very rich in minerals.
