Preventions of the Tooth Decay Caused By Bacteria
Tooth Decay is usually caused by the bacteria which interact with the food particles left in the tooth. The bacteria exists on the sugary foods which produce acids; the bacteria and the acids combine to form plague which sticks to the teeth and eats away the tooth enamel eventually causing the tooth decay.
If you find out the tooth decay in the early stages, it can be reversible easily by taking calcium, fluoride and phosphate also you should follow some of these preventions.
Like all dentists advise to clean your teeth at least twice a day for proper dental hygiene with a quality toothpaste containing fluoride. It is recommended to rinse your mouth after every meal and especially after taking sugary foods. Avoid giving children a bottle of milk before they sleep because the sweet liquid can be left in the mouth which not only causes the halitosis but also tooth decay.
Prevention is much better than cure and particularly in children, after their permanent teeth appears; make their habit of brushing teeth to prevent early tooth decay.
