Reaching New Heights

Updated on October 27, 2014

"Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced" -James Buldwin

That's what we do for a majority of our lives. Not physically speaking per say, but emotionally. Running from all of the parts that hurt you in the past or caused you any form of pain. We run, because it's easier. Because if there is something exiting to lean towards... there is potential to not have to deal. If you think about it... everyone is running from something, it's just a matter of what. The When (realizing they'd like to be over it, heal it, and move on to different heights), is in the timing of each different individual. There will be moments of dealing, then running again, and back to dealing. Some may heal and deal and be done with it. Unfortunately, some may never deal. But all good things come from time, and time... is healing.

Anyone who has dealt with a lose, understands that it's all about time. The time it took you to rise to a goal, the hard work and efforts it took you to get there, and then... the moment that it was all lost. The time, then, put into thinking about where it all might have started to go wrong. The moments out of your days just pondering these lost emotions on the travel up. Wondering.. "why didn't I listen to that gut feeling while it was happening?" When you were to busy... simply living your life. Now I'm not saying, that reflecting is not living your life. It most certainly is all part of the natural balance that needs to take place in ones life in order to heal, and in order to move on.

"Never regret. if it's good, it's wonderful. If it's bad, it's experience." -Victoria Holt

I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. That nature will takes it's course, no matter what way it wants to take it. The beauty in that, is that every challenge in life, is a positive one.

Often times I think that in this life we get so excited about what we are working towards, that sometimes we don't stop to realize, that quit possibly... that's not the path that you are meant to stay on. That doesn't mean that that road is not meant to be on while your on it, it just means that maybe it is building you up to something greater.
