Really. Do What Makes You Happy.

Updated on September 14, 2016

What is stopping you? Really...what.

Do what makes you happy...
This isn't a cliche, it's the truth. I'd say that we are in charge of our own happiness at least 90 something percent of the time, so it's nothing we can really afford to be lazy about.

When it comes down to it, we choose what to stress about, what to worry about, what to get angry about, and what drives us crazy... We also choose what to feel blessed about, what to hope and pray for, and what to smile about, from the inside out.

Life deals each of us shitty hands of all different sorts, some being worse than others... That's life. Unless those shitty hands are beyond our control, we choose how to handle them.
It's so easy to say, "don't let this get to you....don't let that get to you," but really - just don't. Think about this: Is it worth a ruined day or a bad mood? In the grand scheme of things, is it really gonna matter a year, two years, or even five years from now?
If the answer is "no," then seriously just let it go...

Know you.
Be you.
Know what makes you really, truly, glowingly happy and just do those things with those people...whatever and whoever they are. If you do, chances are that when you reach that one year, two year, or five year mark, you'll look back and be damned proud of yourself and those choices you made.
Holla for some happiness.

I read this one often to remind myself. It's so easy to get caught up in things and lose this focus. So easy.

Sherry-Lynn - It's so true, word for word your hub is a little treasure of inspiration for all those souls who happened to forget why they are here and what the priorities are.
