Recipe for more joy

Life is so full of worries and trials and tribulations. So an injection of more joy would be welcome for all of us.

So the recipie for more joy in your life is:

1.To pay more attention to what makes you feel good and do more of that.

2.To focus on what makes you laugh as laughter is good for the immune system and helps your over all well being. Some people have been known to cure cancer and other serious illnesses with laughter. It somehow works on a cellular level not just an emotional level. I once read an article that said that someone with lukemia locked themselves in a hotel room and watched only comedies as all other medical options had failed. He did indeed cure himself. I found that very fascinating. I have also read about studies of the energy that thoughts carry in water and how that effects the water molecules and we are made up of 90% water so imagine if we focus on joy how perpetually healthy we would be.

3.To focus only on what you want in your life not on what you don't want.

4. To smile as often as possible, to do random acts of kindness, to love and honor who you are so you can do the same to others. To do good things helps you feel good and brings you more joy.

5.To write down every day what has made you happy even if it is just being healthy and alive. The more we become aware of what makes us happy the more joy we exude and the more we attract that energy to us.

6.To let your creative juices flow with writing or painting or singing or playing an instrument. Just to be motivated and excited about something, anything. These things will surely bubble up joy within you.

I know these are very simple things to do, but, how often do we do them? When we love who we are and all that we have around us even the simplest things ,we help others do the same. When we do that we spread joy and goodness and happiness and well being. So enjoy planting the seeds of joy in every interaction you have. Enjoy spreading a feeling of well being.
