Refrain from negative thinkers
We meet a lot of people while performing our day-to-day activities. Some people motivate us and become our inspiration and some fill our life with fear and negativity. The best choice here is to refrain from negative thinkers and be with those who spread positivity.
Two examples of negative thinkers:
Oh we cannot achieve this: We encounter these types of people mostly at our workplace. The boss will define a new target to be achieved and this person will be the one to raise his hand and say, “Hey it’s quite difficult to reach this target. I am sorry but please define some realistic targets as we will not be able to accomplish these.” Suppose you are working in a team and there are ten members, five will follow him without any thoughts. The other five will have different opinions and this is enough for the team to get demotivated. Now the best way out from this situation is to explain your plans to the team and convince them how they can do it. You have to work really hard but without this you cannot move your team towards success.
I am not well for so many days: These types of people can be seen everywhere. You may have relatives whom you call for a family reunion and the first thing they will say is, “I am not well today. Please postpone to some other day and also tell others in the family that I am not well.” If the person is a woman, the way out is to tell her that you have a 50% sale going on in a mall near your locality and she will dress up and start marching towards that area. You can pick her up from that place to your family reunion, all dressed and ready to rock.
Two examples of positive thinkers:
Oh why not. We can do this: These types of people are the busiest people you can find around you. They have a whole lot of work to do and are already preoccupied but will still say, “Yes, we can take on this new project. Just we need is three more people in our team.” Now these are the types of people you must stick with. A negative thinker will always have excuses but a positive thinker will always have a positive intention.
I am fit and well: Whenever asked, this type of person will always say that he is healthy and fine. As a positive thinker, he will not complain about things but rather will have a thankful and grateful attitude towards the Almighty. People do not refrain from these people. The most important thing is that these types of people are always surrounded by like-minded people (people with a positive attitude towards life). They fell ill just like other people but still they laugh and God gives them courage to fight with their illness.
So one can easily find negative thinkers around, but the idea is to cut short and stick with positivity. The positive ones are those who go by the old saying, “Why die before your time” and these are the ones who create history.
