Taking Time to Recharge

Every day life can drain us of our energy, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We need to love ourselves by taking time to "relax and renew" with small sacred moments throughout our day or night, learning to breathe and make time for ourselves.

Don't just pencil in time to get away now and then, make sure you really do take the time you need and deserve to refill your energy levels. Let your family or friends know you're plans to enjoy some quality time just for you.

You may decide to take a long, hot bath with candles, oils, herbs or sea salt in the bath or aromatherapy, music, crystals and stones for healing and creating higher energy. Connect with the elements of water, air, earth and fire. Breathe in good positive energy and breathe out negative, stagnant energy. Take your time, pamper yourself, enjoy a glass of wine, tea or lemon water while soaking and rejuvenating all levels of your being. Envision the negative energy flowing with the water as it goes down the drain.

You may be the type that feels refreshed by getting outside in nature, hiking, sitting by a river or by the ocean, watching wildlife, fishing, swimming, running, taking pictures, walking your dog and spending time with your loving pets. Whatever it is that makes you feel good out in nature. Again, take time to breathe and be mindful of your breath, your heartbeat, being present in the moment and enjoying life!

Some people enjoy writing, singing, playing an instrument, creating, dancing and expressing themselves by opening up their souls and letting the beautiful energy out into the open or on paper, in the air, on canvas, in a garden by planting and growing beautiful plants that give us longer lasting joy and abundance.

There are so many ways to relax and renew ourselves, no one is the same in what they're attracted to that makes them feel good, inside and out. Even taking a nap and truly resting our bodies and mind, letting ourselves drift away into a great dream. You may like to pray or meditate, talking to SpiritGod and listening with your heart and soul to everything around you.

Life can be stressful, we all know that and filled with chaos at times. It's important for us to take time for the important five R's often, "Relax, renew, rest, recharge and rejuvenate!

Be good to yourself and "Remember" we all need some down time to "Refill" ourselves, especially when we give often, help others, work hard, have a family, deal with illness, run a business and live a life that's full!
