Weight Loss Claims and Reviews on Acai Berry

Acai berry is one of the newest supplements in the health industry. Acai berry is promoted most often as a weight loss supplement. Sometimes called a super food, many celebrities are supposed to have lost weight with acai berry. Some reviews on acai berry have made claims of losing up to five pounds a week with acai berry supplements.

What Is Acai Berry?

Acai berry supplements are natural, made from a fruit. Acai berry is a tropical fruit. It grows in the Amazon rain forest. Because an acai berry supplement is not a chemical diet pill, there is less risk of side effects or problems with acai berry and weight loss than with a lot of other diet pills.

Acai berry supplement contains anthocyanin. This is the active ingredient which is supposed to make acai berry and weight loss work together so well. Anthocyanin is found naturally in red wine.

Acai Berry and Weight Loss

Taking acai berry supplement is supposed to increase increase your energy and rev up your metabolism. Acai berry also curbs your appetite so that you eat less.  All of these acai berry benefits combined help you lose weight quicker and more effectively.

Other Possible Acai Berry Supplement Health Benefits

Not just for weight loss, acai berry is loaded with antioxidants, amino acids, protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Taking an acai berry supplement daily is supposed to strengthen the immune system. There are claims that this weight loss supplement will also make you more strong. Acai berry supplements are supposed to slow aging. Many reviews on acai berry say it helps relieve joint pain.

Buy a Quality Acai Berry Supplement

To be effective for weight loss, find an acai berry supplement with at least 500 mg dosage. Look for an acai berry weight loss supplement that contains no fillers, binders, or other additives for a quality product.

Is Acai Berry a Superfood?

If an acai berry supplement is effective at even some of the health claims, it surely is a super food.  Glowing reviews on acai berry can be found all over the Internet. Acai berry and weight loss claims have become so popular that many companies are providing free trials.

Be Wary of Reviews on Acai Berry Supplements

Be wary of any nutritional supplement that makes so many health claims. This is not to say that reviews on acai berry and weight loss are scams. Or that taking an acai berry supplement won't strengthen your immune system, slow down aging, curb your appetite, ease arthritis pain, or any of its other health claims.

Just be careful believing in any health food products that proclaim what seem to be miraculous results. Unscrupulous companies sometimes post bogus reviews for health supplements or pay others to write such reviews.

Acai Berry Supplement Free Trials

Also be very cautious when giving out credit card information to companies who provide free bottles of acai berry supplements or free trials. There are companies who will continue to ship acai berry supplements after the free trial ends and charge you exorbitant prices. Sometimes it can be very difficult to end these expensive acai berry supplement shipments.

Research an acai berry company first on the internet for complaints before ordering.

I am a sceptic with regard the claims of huge fast weight loss. I have decided to have a trial and see what happens though. Thanks for the info.

I like the drink as a fruit shake or smoothie.

I'll be honest here, I've read the claims but never saw significant weight loss in my case (and I am not so overweight maybe 15 pounds max) and I went to where it originates, Brazil. Most people I saw drinking it were work-out fiends anyway. It is possible I had something else in my diet to not make it work. It is a good drink and worth another try for sure.
