Saying goodbye to 2010

Updated on January 1, 2011

The year in review

This will be my last hub of the year of our Lord 2010, and this is that year in review Johnny Style. First I want to thank all my fans and all those who read my work over a thousand times in 2010, I love and appreciate you all.

We saw some amazing things happen 2010, the Obamacare health bill was passed ,http://wp.me/pAOsr-3 We saw the Horizon oil spill in the gulf of Mexico one of the worst in American history, and we saw the Saints win the Superbowl.

As for me, 2010 was a turbulent year for us at the Newell house first I was in an auto accident in late April, from which I learned some bitter-sweet truths about my progressing spina-bifida. Then there was the oil spill which totally ruined our summer, then we were victims of a vicious internet scam which cost us $$ thousands of dollars and brought us a hard candy Christmas.

The year wasn't all bad however, April brought us a new grand baby Ethan Thomas, Then in July we were blessed with yet another grandson, Noah Michael, both jewels in my treasure chest from the Lord. In August my wife Katrina Graduated from Virginia College and I preach a sermon in a Birmingham Alabama McDonalds ( a first for me, probably a first for McDonalds as well). In October I started a new devotional blog "Breaking the bread of life"http://johnny-newell.blogspot.com/ and after ten years I took a sabatical from being a Alcohol, Drug, and Anger Management counselor, in order to seek God's perfect will in my life.

Last but not least, I finished writing the book "Milford's Different" and am awaiting the illustrations to be completed. Part of the proceeds from this book will be donated to Shriner's hospitals for crippled children. God also blessed me to write some great hubs in 2010 and for that I am forever thankful.

Things to come

Looking forward to 2011, we are expecting God do great things in the new year. For my fans and readers you can expect more Spiritual hubs, hubs about family and the world around us. There will be by the grace of God more, hubs more often. also in 2011 readers will be introduced to the Mini serial "Idee fausse" .

Other hubs coming in 2011

Faces of addiction : A series on addiction and it's affects on the family and society

Aging America: A look at America's Elderly

The entitled : A Series on the youth of the 21st Century

The Chosen ones: Mini serial

I will be reading and hub hopping a lot of hubs in 2011 and becoming a fan to many new and as well as existing hubbers. I love my hub family and appreciate everyone of you, I hope you will visit often and stay late and always remember these hubs are made possible by Jesus Christ because all that I am and all I ever will be, God made me that.
