As we grow older we will experience the feeling of great changes in our bodies, and facial appearance, as tiny little wrinkles and pains creep in slowly. It is said that life begins at the age of 40, with our body's start to changing at the age of 50, this is nature not an illness. These changes happens to both men and women doing the aging process. Some cultures valve the wisdom and the beauty of the minds of the elderly. Older men are given more respect, why women are marginalized to our society. women at times faces discrimination base on their race, sexual preferences ,physical, or their mental abilities. As we age we are made aware of how society plays a role in our lives, we are recognized as old folks, with no goals or life. I am a senior that looks years younger because of the life style I lead. I excises, try to eat right, work part-time, date and keep up with changes. I see some elderly's giving up on life, using the precious time they have , to do nothing. To me age is just a number it's all about have one handle themselves. The system makes it hard for Elderly, not respecting their needs. As persons ages we often become aware of how others responds to us, even some members of our families. Some times it's hard to believe that life is passing us by; as our youth fade away. Society's don't like hiring the aging because of their appearance even though they are excellent workers. Aging should a beautiful and wonderful that most of us experience but society has made impossible to survive without issues.
