Onion is a bulb gotten from onion plant. It has a characteristic odour and it is grown in most parts of the world. Onion is mostly used in spicing food, but it also has many other medicinal benefits not known by many people. Some of the health benefits of onion are discussed below.

Onion makes blood thin and thereby increasing proper circulation of blood in the body.
